welcome to pages and pages, a writing
directory specific to the creative works of
words that users have posted on
chickensmoothie. whether it be poems,
short stories, drabbles, fanfictions,
songs, or long-running novels, all forms
of writing are welcomed here. please,
feel free to browse through our selection
and post your own stories for others to
enjoy.


each week, I and the mini mods that I
will appoint will decide on a featured
story that will be at the top of the
story directory for one week. the
genre of the featured stories [i.e.
realistic, science fiction, historical]
will rotate monthly.


please fill out a form in order to be
added to the directory. if you have a
suggestion or question, please post that
on the thread. otherwise, please refrain
from posting needlessly. because of the
nature of this thread, we'd love to keep it
as uncluttered and organized as possible.

about the work: Abigail Keum is just another face in the city, struggling to make ends meet while trying to pursue the life she knows she was meant to have. Crippled by pride, biting cynicism, and a general, intolerable personality, she lives her young adult life in a much less luxurious fashion than she envisioned it to be. When, however, Abigail finds letters addressed to herself written by herself when she was in high school, she is given the chance to reflect on what she's really become in the last ten years.

Name of Author: Me, FairyPoeline or Emily, whichever.
Genre: Fiction, post-apocalyptic, romantic short story.
About the Work: This is based on a dream I had about one of my close freinds. It's a post-apocalyptic world, and time is running out for two teenagers who have done all they can to survive in their world.
About the Author: Well, I'm a high school student with a knack for writing. I write either dark and depressing stuff, or cutesy romantic stuff. My finished short stories, are all either lovey or dark, but I'm working on pulling myself away from the two main themes of today. I also write poetry, and, uh, that's about it.

about the work: Holiday and Maverick were in many ways a normal set of twins. They had their little spats, but always ended up smiling again. That is, until Roman went missing. Their little brother, only seven years old, out in the mountains of Colorado. Now tension is heating up between the twins, who blame eachother for his disappearance. A fight reveals that many things lay unkown from their past. Divine intervention and government forces may just become the twins' demise. Where is little Roman?

If you find that this story is close to yours in any way remember what I am about to say. Twins with opposite powers is a very common theme. My originality comes from the otherworldly interaction, loss of power, and deaths. Still convinced I copied you? PM me and I'll prove you wrong.

On another side, just remember this story may not be finished. I want to finish it, I promised myself I woulf. Just sometimes I can only write on a level I consider really bad.
