Moonpelt woke and stretched in the warriors den. She once again became excited at the fact she was a warrior. Even though she had been a warrior for a bit now, it still puffed her up with pride. She bounded out into the clearing when she heard Morningstar's call. Settling down to listen, she quickly licked her fur where it was ruffled from sleep. She wondered if it was time to move back to the other camp, because why else would Morningstar use the call for the whole clan? She scanned the assembled clan for Sunpaw, then remembered that he was supposed to be out on patrol with his mentor this morning.

Birchpaw saw Moonpelt come out of the warriors' den and padded over to her, making sure to stay clear of Cloudpaw. She sat down next to her and wrapped her tail around her paws. Her tail-tip twitched with anticipation as she mewed, "Hi Moonpelt! Are you excited?" She couldn't stay sad for long; it was moving day today! "You know what day it is, right?"

"Well hi Birchpaw! Yes I'm excited, it's moving day isn't it?" Moonpelt replied to her old friend's many questions. She sat up and started to wash herself. She was really excited to move because the other camp was so beautiful. Plus it was such a nice day it was hard to not be excited. "So how are you these days?" Moonpelt questioned in between licks. "I havent seen you much. I really hope Morningstar makes you a warrior soon. Then we can be warriors together!" she exclaimed.

Birchpaw's eyes sparkled with excitement. She knew she wasn't quite old enough to become an apprentice yet, but it wouldn't be long. "It's been alright," she meowed, avoiding mentioning her fight with Cloudpaw. "How's it been with you? You're a big, strong warrior now!" she meowed, letting out a mrow of laughter. "How is it?"

"Me? A big strong warrior? You're funny." Moonpelt joked. "But seriously it's hard. And scary. I mean you practically have the life of the clan in your paws sometimes. But it is cool to be treated normal instead of looked down on." Moonpelt shuddered as she remembered some of the mean cats that made fun of her as an apprentice who acted nice towards her now. They are so two-faced. she thought to herself.
