When you find a good commission deal, do you ever have a lot of trouble figuring out which character to order for?
YES!!!! It is horrible i try to get some of my newer characters in it then i am like BUT so and so would look AMAZING!!!

When designing a character, how do you do it? Do you think of the markings first, or the colors, or even the backstory?
Hmmm I usually start with a random color (usually natural) and then start to randomly add markings that i like (usually spots) then i will go back to the color and change it till they fit just right...

Sometimes I'm not even planning out the character.
I just start drawing a random animal, then add in a mixture of colors.
