So my boyfriend recently bought me a mood ring (he's such a sweetie) and it got me thinking. A lot of people say they don't work and stay the same color, but mine actually does change. It was blue when he gave it to me (which means loved), medium green ( which is not under great stress, it was during a 7 hour bus trip from a chorus competition,), and pink (3which is fear, it was when I learned there was a flooding in my town and I couldn't contact my parents).
So it definatly works for me
I was wondering what other peoples thoughts were. I just think they are really interesting .
This is to one last day in the shadows
and to know a brothers love
this is to New York City angels
and the rivers of our blood ~

They do work. Like you know when you get mad, you feel a little hot? Then the mood ring would change color under the heat. And if you were in fear, you get a cold, dreaded feeling. So the mood ring would follow the cold. They work. It's just a little bit of science behind them.

Yes, mood rings are heat-sensitive, which causes the colors to change.
But a lot of people have expressive hands; and they usually don't notice it, either. So they do work- to an extent- for a lot of people. :3 Unfortunately, if your body temperature is significantly higher or lower than average, they don't work at all.
My hands are blocks of ice unless I'm sick. |D So I always get "scared" or "nervous".

Mine is the other way around; my hands are always hot. Actually, my whole body feels hot on the outside, but mostly my hands and ankles. Mine is always the dark blue colour.D:
