she smiled a little and took his hand, manageing not to blush "yea, I guess so" she sighed quietly and her smile melted "but sometimes it takes just as many lives as it saves" she said quietly

Alice opened one eye and aw Linkheart alseep.
"So much for' I hadrly tire' " She whispered to herself and rested her head on his chest.

He pulled her up. 'I understand.' He said somberly. 'I made a mistake and from that single mistake a whole family died.' He glanced at his feet. 'But everyday can't be all sun shiny and happy.'

He opened one eye and smiled. 'You call this sleeping?' He said closing his eye again.
