Never looked over his shoulder. "Bunnies" He mouthed pointing towards a clearing. With pain staking slowness he picked his way over the small clearing and knocked an arrow the string. 4 fluffy rabbits nibbled the grass unaware of the danger.

she smiled when she saw the rabbits, it was a shame to kill them but she had never tried rabbit before, and she did want to see Nevers shooting

Never drew the bow to half it's capacity and sighted. He didn't need the full power of his 80 pound long bow to kill a couple of rabbits. In the blink of an eye he released the first arrow and was already knocking another to the string. In less then 10 seconds 3 rabbits lay on the ground, each with a perfectly aimed arrow through their skulls as to not ruin the meat. The fourth bounded into the bushes.
'Who needs magic when you have a bow.' He said with a smug smile.

she raised an eyebrow "wow, must say I'm impressed Fairwood" she smiled and walked into the clearing "how can an arrow go straight through bone?" she said in disbelief

Never beamed at her praise and went over to collect the rabbits. 'A little rabbits skull isn't that hard.' He explained. 'Plus I use broad head arrows for hunting.' He yanked out an arrow from the rabbits skull to reveal the two bladed triangle shaped arrow head. 'I only use a two blade for small game, some would say it's an over excessive use but ehh, each to his own. I don't like Bodkin heads. Lousy cheap things.'

she raised an eyebrow, most of that lost on her "well congrats, you managed to confuse me" she picked up one of the rabbits

He laughed plucking out the arrows and stringing two rabbits together. He grabbed the one in her hand and strung him on as well. 'After you madam.' He said with a flourish

she laughed "well are'nt you a gentleman" she walked past him

He watched her walk past with a smirk. 'Only when I wish to be.' He idly followed her wondering if she'd remember the way back home when something caught his attention.
