Apollo chuckled at Orion's small comment, his ears flexing as they swiveled. "Don't we know it. My mother and father used to- hey!" he whimpered as Lex stomped down her paw onto Apollo's tail.
"Shush." She threatened, her eyes warily staring at her sibling before returning her gaze back to Orion and Comet, the smile barely there. Standing from her place, she nodded. "Alright." She answered Comet, her voice low as she quietly stalked after him.
Apollo frowned, mumbling under his breath about his sister before standing and trotting after Comet as well.

Korra walked back to her den and saw her pup, Ryder, playing around with the pelts. Her den was underneath a waterfall so the water above keeps them warm and so does the moonstone cave. Her den was full of pelts that she skinned from her prey last autumn to prepare for winter and luckily, there was a lot of prey to last her pack. Once she walked in, she shook her head and let out a small sigh. "Ryder, sweetheart, don't play with the pelts, we need them, it's still cold outside." She said in a gentle voice and then lightened up and smiled. "Come on, you had enough play time. I think it's best if I teach you how to swim. You know, some wolves do not know how to, when I was a pup, I was taught a few days younger than you are and I've been practicing, guess how I can survive a flood." She winked playfully and then grabbed him by the scruff with her muzzle. She began to walk out, but instead of the waterfall just outside her den, she went somewhere else.

Once they were there, Korra let down Ryder gently and then told him what to do. Ryder walked into the river, but was still a bit terrified of water. He wished that he had his father with him, but he was gone because of Howling Moon. Sensing that he was a bit frightened, Korra picked him up by his scruff once more and got into the water with him. "Kick your legs." He heard his mother muffled out of her mouth and did what she ask. She was lowered into the water. Ryder continued kicking until he was in the water. At first, it was a bit chilly, but then it got warmer. A squeak came out of his muzzle as she lowered him all the way until half of his body was underwater. Ryder began to kick faster and soon, he began to swim, not noticing that Korra has let go.
