Thaddeus placed a booted foot on the captain and placed the barrel of her gun against Robin's neck. "If you even touch the trigger,I will pull mine."

Lacie was putting the food she bought, more or less, in there respected places. She heard the shouts of battle. She paused and continued to organize. She wasn't the fighting type she used to be ever since he died. Lacie knew that the navy was going to lose and that there would be another victor for the pirates but would they take prisoners or kill. She finish with the food and started a simple meal. It would please the victorious beasts when they came back.

Robin froze and slowly lowered his gun. He could hear the muffled yell of his captain, who must have been not far behind him.

"Now,stand up slowly so we can tie you up." She instructed. Thaddeus looked around for Adrian. "CAPTAIN!"

For a split second, Robin considered making a run for it. But where would he go? Into the water? They were too far from land, and he would die. With his heart pounding, he dropped his gun and stood. He looked around at his ship, many sailors lay dead on the ground, those still standing were being killed or still fighting.

Robin heard an ear-piercing scream and his blood ran cold. He couldn't move thanks to the gun being held at his neck, but he could hear a thump. In the corner of his eye he saw a familiar red headed form lying limp on the ground, surrounded in blood. NO! It was his best friend since he'd joined the Navy, Lou. Dead. Robin's eyes blazed with anger at Okuyami and the pirate with the gun. He was so furious, he wanted to punch them both in the face. He clinched his fists instead. Don't kill yourself now.They will pay, later.

Adrian swore. He drew his sword, dodging and ducking across the deck of the naval ship. His opponents fell before him, and he saw that the crew were beaten. He leaped onto the high deck and shouted, "Lay down your weapons before we annihilate you!" He saw Thaddeus drag an old man up on the deck. There's the captain. He strod over to Thadd and his prisoner. "Relinquish your ship to us, old man. We have over-powered you." He called over to Robin. "Don't bother trying to leap off, boy. We'd blast you out of the water faster than you could think. Lower your gun and come quietly."


Elaine stood in the crow's nest of the pirate ship, gazing down at the fierce battle. She wasn't fighting in it because Adrian had made it very clear that she was to stay safely on the ship if there was a battle. "If you get killed, Mother would never forgive me, and I would be cast out from the family. Just stay here where it's safe." She sighed and rolled her eyes. He's so over-protective. I can take care of myself, thank you very much. She looked down at the battle again. There was a boy, about her age, who was fighting off Okuyami quite well. Her hands flew to her mouth as Thadd placed her gun to his throat. She raced down the ropes and scrambled across the bridge between the two boats. "Don't kill him!" she gasped, stopping at Thadd and staring at her wide eyed. "Don't kill him," she repeated. "Please Thad."

Adrian swore again. "Elaine Larner, what have I told you about coming onto the enemy ship! Get back over there now." El turned pleading eyes on him. "Captain, he didn't do anything wrong; he was just on the other side. Don't kill him now. If anything he can be an opponent for Oku to train on. He's good."

"You didn't think I was actually going to kill him El,Did you?" She shot her pistol in the air,but nothing happened but a clicking sound. "This's all for show." She lifted the navy captain up and pushed down a blank with a boot. She led the old man down toward the pirate ship and shouted to the others,"HOLD YOUR FIRE!bRING THEM ALL ACROSS TO THE DECK!"
