Alice laughed and sat on the bed.

'I do a lot of that, but I'm a ranger by occupation. I used to be a ranger ranger, or wild ranger as some folk call use, that is until I was recruited by the High King to be a Royal Ranger.' He said sitting down with his feet on the table. 'Long history that can;t be said over night. But I must say the pay is much better working for his royal hinney.'

Linkheart hit her lightly with the pillow. 'Come on lazy.'

Alice laughed and hit him over the head with the pillow.
"Don't make me get my makeup" she said mockingly

she looked at him in confusion "whats a ranger?"

'Collector of intell to be concise.' He said picking the grit out of his nails. 'I go out, skulk about with my special thief like skill set and report to the head of operations. And believe me I have a whole lot to do, there's always some conspiracy or some cult wanting to take over. After all it's been only a year since the war so the remnants of his "Lords" army is still prowling out there.'

'You wouldn't dare!' Linkheart said eyeing her off.

she nodded and looked at his face, smiling a little "well may I remind this 'oh so great spy' that he still had lipstick smeared on his face and a purple ribbon in his hair"

Alice smiled
"Oh but I would!" She said eyeing him back.

His eye twitched yet again. 'I do not need reminding.' He said remembering the ribbon and pulling it out. 'Besides purple is so not my colour.' He grinned

Linkheart sat in front of her. 'Nah you wouldn't dare.'

she laughed "your right, I think I could find a pink one somewhere..."

"I could get it now if you don't think I would". She says standing up ready to race home and get her makeup.
