He lets out a small laugh.
" Yes..but they are useful." A doctor came out.
" excuse me sir? Are you the guardian of Mirik davo?" Hunter had made sure to make a fake last name for mirik incase anyone here knew who they were.
" Yeah..Is he ok or is this just bad news?" Hunter asked.
" he'll be right no need to worry about that but..We can't seem to wake him up.."
" Let me see him." Hunter said standing up a air of worry around him.

Ash stood "let me come."

The doctor lead them back to mirik's room and left them be with him.

He stood by Mirik not believing this small fragile boy laying on the bed was the one fighting deperatly for his life just mintues ago.
" I'm so sorry.." He whispered brushing mirik's blood stained hair away from his pale face.

Ash bit her lip "Mirik..."

" i can't believe someone would do this to a child..it's so unfair for him.." He knew that once mirik opened his eyes all he would see for life would be darkness.
Hunter knew kain's expariment would mostly fail and that he just wanted to make mirik suffer, But he had goen to far this time.
' I swear when I get ahold of our father ash I'll burn him so bad that not even his ashes are left to bring back.."

Ash nodded "alright. i want to help"

" I knew you would want to Ash.." He caught a glint of metal around Mirik's neck and eyed the chain not noticing it before.
" Have you ever felt that though we're his family We barley know him?.."

Ash nodded sadly "yeah..."

He reached out and gently took the locket around mirik's neck and opened it showing a picture on one side with Ryder and Kalin standing side-by-side holding hands with a smaller version of Mirik held In kalin's arms. hunter smirked seeing one of Mirik's now rare smiles in the picture. He closed it and set it on the small table next to him.
" I knew he would never live a day with-out his parents being close to his heart.." He says to ash.
" I wish there was someway to help him besides being helpless like this.'
