Briar(Bree) - female - getting ready for the ball

Bree padded quietly through her house to her bedroom, slipping through the door and closing it behind her. She smiled. The wedding had been beautiful, but now she needed to go to the ball. She knew she was late, but she didn't mind. Nobody would miss her.
She pulled her blue dress carefully over her head and laid it out on her bed. It was a nice dress, but she couldn't go to the ball in the same one she had gone to the wedding in. Stepping over to her closet, she opened the doors and reached into its smothering depths. She pulled out a long flowing dress made of deep black material and held it up to the light. It sparkled like it had diamonds embedded in it.
Bree slipped it over her head and smoothed it out, admiring its elegance. Padding over to her bedside table, she picked up her mask. It was black as well, and it twinkled back at her. She trotted out her front door and made her way towards the ball, pulling her mask down over her face. She hoped she didn't look like she was going to a funeral.
