"Of Dark Days and Sunlit Lights"
It was September when Cristal decided she wanted to go for a flying lesson. She'd been grounded for a couple of years, and I was beginning to worry that she'd lose her amazing aerial talents, so naturally I consented. When we reached the top of Mt. Breaker I dismounted and realeased her into the sky. It wasn't long until she was barely a pinpoint in the cloudy landscape, but I knew she'd come back. I settled down to wait for her. Suddenly, a loud crash jarred the ground, and I stood up, worried that Cristal had fallen. Running over to the struggling Docksen shape, I realized it wasn't Cristal, but was actually a wild Ilban mare! I stepped back as she righted herself, then gazed at me with the most stunning amber eyes I had ever seen. I stepped towards her, but she started and shied away. Perhaps you will have better luck taming her? ~ Ian LeStraud
