Got this cute little bunny. Its a very common, but I like its wings and colors.

I didn't even know it was open, until I randomly visited this topic. I ran to the pound. There were two pets I wanted. A pony from this month and a brown and white rat.
I adored the rat, so I adopted it.<3

And now it's safe with me.

I often adopt ratties from the pound, I feel bad about leaving them there!

Congrats everyone on both the new thread and the old one on your new pets.
I'm seeing a bit more happiness and excitement and appreciation for even the smallest ones lately which makes me happy. I love seeing people loving their pets for their beauty and specialness as a gift rather than just their rarity. ^_^

Anyway, I had just sat down with my cup of coffee and noticed the Pound thread had been bumped up. So I looked and sure enough the Pound was open. I opened a tab with the Adoptions group and was just looking through and flicking back to the Pound tab to refresh every now and then. I stopped scrolling with this lovely girl from last month right dead center on the Adoptions page. Clicked on the Pound tab, refreshed, and there was the same exact design dog right smack in the middle of that page as well. I was a bit surprised. So I clicked back on the Adoptions tab, there she was, clicked back to the Pound tab, there she was in the same spot. So I clicked ADOPT. Went back to the Adoptions tab just out of curiosity to see. And sure enough, when I clicked on the dog on the Adoptions page, it was the exact dog I'd just gotten from the Pound page.
So it was sort of like a slot machine. The page stopped on her and she just screamed "PIck me! Pick me! Pick me quick before somebody else does!"

And that's how I got Serendipity from the Pound this morning ^_^
