(Wait a second, C.C. I'm sorry to butt in like this, but AirClan wouldn't have appointed her leader if she hadn't grown up in AirClan. That was just something that bugged me as I was reading it. Would you mind changing it? Maybe just take out the new to the clan part. Thanks! <3 Missed you guys, but I've had a crazy week. It's the end of the school year and our teachers are piling final projects on us. I also have my regular commitments as well, and I just haven't had as much time for CS. We hope you'll still post, Rose!)
WaterClan
Silverleaf straightened up, surprised at the anxiety rolling off Dawnsinger's pelt. "Hi, Dawnsinger, Stormcall," she nodded to both of them. Suddenly feeling the tension of the situation, she shuffled her paws nervously. "So, Dawnsinger. We were going down to the lake. Want to come? Stormcall can come, too, if Swiftstar says it's okay."
Stormcall nodded to his sister's proposition. "Would that be okay, Dawnsinger?"
AirClan
As the couple padded into camp, Ashfeather was shocked at what she was hearing. "Is Swiftstar okay?" she whispered to Ashwhisker as she and Nightfeather sat down beside him.
Nightfeather followed his mate to sit beside the medicine cat. This was the perfect opportunity to bring up his suspicions. "The real question is are you okay, Ashfeather?" he mewed softly, watching her with concerned eyes.
EarthClan
Lightheart stepped out of the brambles and beside the injured she-cat. "I'm sorry you had to see that," she said softly, waiting for the awful vision to fade. To her dismay, she faded from Lightwhisper's sight as well. "Aagh!" she hissed. "Why do I always get forced out?"
IceClan
Nightfall didn't look back. He didn't know if he could bear it. He turned around, eyes still closed, and hobbled down the hill where the she-cats were waiting.
LeafClan
Heathersong's worried features softened. "Oh, Stormpaw, you're still learning. They talk to you more than you think. I can feel their presence even now. They are inside you, Stormpaw. They are inside all of us. You just have to listen." Her heart felt warm, and she knew that the StarClan cats were there, guiding them.
DarkClan
Icestar smiled. "Don't worry about me today, Shadowfang. You just feed yourself." She nodded, dismissing the she-cat. The white she-cat settled herself on a high rock where she could hide and focus. Now was when she had the most trouble; when her minions were spread out over a wide territory. Unfortunately, it was also a time when she got lost in memories.
Icestar watched as her half-brother stood, frozen as it seemed, over Crookedpaw’s body. It had been fun to watch the apprentice die. And with Shadowfang to do her bidding now, she could see that scene over and over and over… “Hello, Bloodgaze,” she meowed darkly, jumping down from her perch in a high oak. “Hello, Iceheart,” he meowed in return, not seeming surprised to see her there. He was distracted, which annoyed Icestar. “It isn’t Iceheart anymore,” she purred, stepping closer. Her pawsteps caught his attention again and his gaze blazed into her eyes. She felt a twinge…but pushed it away. “My name is Icestar now. That is how I will be known, and that is how you will address me. Like the little show my warriors and I put on?” she continued, stepping closer and closer as she spoke. “I prepared it specifically for you.” They were almost touching noses now. “Crookedpaw was too weak to understand; she was better off dead. No use to me.” Bloodgaze flinched, and Icestar smirked, continuing the act. “Of course, you would understand that,” she meowed, gliding seductively around his muscular body. “Not being of use, I mean.” The white huntress stopped and watched his eyes, tail twitching. Crimson eyes burned, beating like a heart, pulsing like there was actual fire blazing in the reflective spheres. Icy eyes burned back, their own cold fire chilling souls that dared to cross their path. The two cats stood still like that, eyes battling for dominance, bodies pressed close, breathing laboured, senses tingling. “You could have come with me, you know,” she whispered finally. “I am gaining power, control. No one bothers me, everyone is afraid of me. You could have been part of that.” Now that she had started, she couldn’t stop, continuing in a frantic tone. “Away from the staring eyes of our clanmates, we could have been whatever we wanted to be. We wouldn’t…don’t have to care. We could be us.”
