Light looked up at his house as he stopped outside on the sidewalk. Behind him, he heard a "Huh?" from an all-too familiar voice.
"Hey, Light. What's wrong?"
He looked over his shoulder just enough so it wasn't noticeable, looking back at the Shinigami floating aimlessly there. "You know what's wrong. Now don't talk to me anymore." Before he could get an answer back, he unlocked the front door and walked inside, shutting it behind him. After talking for a few seconds with his mother, Light went up the stairs and into his room — that was laced with wire taps and hidden cameras. Muttering something under his breath about how this “L” was watching his every move, he sat down at his desk and looked over the homework he had gotten from school.

Ryuuzaki, or L, sat in his usual position as he carefully watched both houses, but mainly the Yagami house; his suspicions were mainly on Light being the Kira. Even if he doesn't show it, my suspicions remain...... Light Yagami is the Kira...

Light sighed to himself, closing his book as he finished off his homework. He leaned back against the chair, looking over at his TV before remembering that he was keeping it off so any suspicions against him didn't grow any higher. There's no way he'll find out I'm Kira... No way at all...
