I nodded, my eyes where red and puffy. I wiped them on my hand, hearing the gore crows and seeing a large shadow fly over the battle field. I let out a chocked cry as I realized what it was, I wrapped my arms around Derns neck and pressed my face to his chest. Hoping to loose myself in his warm embrace.

He held her close, resting his head on hers, "It's just a dream. None of it's real." he said softly, almost crooning.

Vesta shook her head "No, it's all real. It's all real" She had fistfuls of his shirt in her hands, to afraid to let go of him for fear of losing her sanity. She looked up at him, her eyes wide "Am I going crazy?" She whispered

Vesta tried to nod, but her lips trembled instead. She wanted another kiss, but she didn't ask, she just closed her eyes and leaned on Dern again.

Vesta nodded properly this time, she leaned over a little and kissed his cheek gently "Thank you" She whispered into his ear, holding him and giving him a big squeeze.
