Secretgrudge looked away embarrassedly as Moonshade licked his cheek. Really, this she-cat was too sweet. He felt the pressure of her head lay over his back and he sighed peacefully, if she was too kind that was alright...Maybe Starclan forgave him for his mistreatment. Purring soothed him, it was like a reassurance that she wouldn't disappear before him, she would be here in this spot forever. And Secretgrudge wouldn't have it any other way.

I wonder where everyone besides us went?

Moonshade woke, eyes feeling sleepy. Her body was encircled by a another and she blinked, completely dazed for a moment and seemed to have forgotten everything from last night. Then she remembered and smiled, licking Secretgrudge's face tenderly before settling her head by his own, near his paws. She had started out curled around him, but it seemed she had moved in her sleep and cuddled with him; switching sides. His stronger body comforted the usually disturbed deputy. This moment seemed absolutely perfect and she felt like it would never end.

Secretgrudge still lay half asleep, breathing deeply until the she-cat by his side shifted. He slowly opened his eyes to a gentle lick on his cheek.

"...Looks like I feel asleep too." he murmured.

Moonshade purred at the sight of Secretgrudge waking. Her eyes seemed gentle. "And there's no problem with that, Secretgrudge," she mewed in response. "Good morning." She smiled, touching her pink nose to his and looked at the warrior's den entrance. Creamy light seemed to be streaming through the lichen into the den. The sun was up but it was only just dawn. "It's still early," the dark she-cat pointed out.

Secretgrudge turned to the dens opening, and though part of him didn't want to it was a new day and he had duties to carry out.
"I have to hunt today, we can't stay here. It wouldn't set a good example for the others. Exsecially if they caught the Deputy laying around until sun-high." the tome grumbled.

Moonshade blinked her sea-blue eyes at the tom sleepily - her eyelids feeling heavy still though she'd had a good sleep. It would probably take a while for her to catch up on her sleep; it had been moons since she last slept through the night without and nightmares disturbing her. She figured it was because she had her confidence boosted and she didn't feel so lonely anymore. The dark warrior let out an irritated sigh. "Alright fine, you're right. We should go." She let out a yawn; jaws outstretched to reveal her razor sharp, white fangs. She nuzzled the splotchy, silver tom's neck and purred, "No matter how much I want to stay right here..."
Moonshade pulled back with her face beaming and a smile playing on her lips. She licked Secretgrudge on the cheek and stood slowly, arching her back and then moving to the opposite position as she stretched. Her claws were unsheathed and scraped the den's ground as her tail wound up and around to touch the top of her head. Her muscles were clearly visible flexing along her slender body. She relaxed her limps, shook out her pelt to wake herself up and let out a content, short breath. "Come on, you," she mewed as she touched her nose to Secretgrudge's shoulder and hopped out of the nest.

-Sorry, sorry, didn't mean to freak you out. My laptop charger failed on me and I just got the new one today.
"Even if I wanted to, I cannot ignore my duties...." The tom glanced at the she cat as she stretched. He shook his head to concentrate as he followed her outside the den.

"We can eat something before we leave."
