I'm so happy!!

I am excited & happy & incredibly hopeful!!!

I have had a pretty bad year so far. I've been unemployed since last July.
My laptop, which was a Christmas present after my ex's POS laptop got stolen, was lost to a nasty Vista sleep mode glitch.
My car was lost to an expired tag & no insurance. And NOTHING is within walking distance where I live.
Several of my closest friends who I was only able to talk to online because they moved out of state & can't afford more than prepaid phones, are still having trouble contacting me.
My mate, who also currently lives out of state (we're working on that) is going through a nasty battle of wills & guilt trips with his ex wife, most of it concerning the kids.
The laptop dad loaned me until I can fix/replace mine is OLD, glitchy, randomly crashes for no apparent reason, & is completely incompatible with almost all of my favorite software, ESPECIALLY the ones I use for writing!!

BUT!! Things are FINALLY turning around!!
I have a job! And it pays well! I just started working tuesday & this has been my first week.
My car's tag has been renewed & I have Geico insurance.
One of my close friends (who moved to Canada) is now back in the states & I'm able to talk to her again!
My mate is WINNING the battle & it's no longer making him so depressed!
The loaner lappy is still a POS BUT I found some suggestions on the internet for how to fix my laptop so YAYNESS FOR ME!!
I got $951 for my tax return so I was able to buy food, get my car back on the road, & even get a few work clothes!

I am so glad this bad streak is finally beginning to abate! Things are looking up & I am TRULY happy right now! I hope it lasts.

And to add to my ever-increasing happiness, a deck I have been watching, waiting for, & drooling for for YEARS(!!) is finally available & WILL ARRIVE TOMORROW!! YAY!!!!! *does the amusing Happy Dance of Insane Happiness*
