Vesta pulled away from him a little, hugging herself tightly as more of the memories flashed through her mind. Blood everywhere, children crying, the screech of gore birds and the clatter of armour, swords and shields on a battlefield. She got off of Derns lap and sat a little way from him hugging her knees and rocking herself

Dern looked at her, anguish and concern fighting for dominance over his facial features, and he walks over, and puts his arms around her again, "Vesta, I'm here, let me help you." he whispered in her ear.

she smiled and followed him, not noticing the looks people gave her for her clothing

Vreck held her hand, leading her to a great restaurant where he went whenever he had spare time, which had never been that often, but the food was marvelous.

Vreck got them seats and soon a waiter appeared, handed them their menu';s and with a smile at Datura was off. Vreck decided to ignore the waiters fawning, less he do something very stupid and ruin tonight.
