A green light enveloped Jupiter, soft words danced into her ears. They almost sounded like someone was singing in a silvery, bell-type voice. "When the last of the blackness falls, and the blood becomes beautiful, the crimson hope will grow." And as fast as it had happened, it disappeared.

Ryuu held back a growl as he thought of Creo. He couldn't wait to sink his teeth into that traitor. He trotted steadily along, his ears swiveling constantly and pausing often to scent the air.

Raven buried her face in Leaf Fall's fur, pressing up against him as she cried for her loss. It was never meant to be, she thought bitterly. She looked upwards for a moment, wondering how Kinari could be so cruel to her. She shook her head sadly before placing it back on Leaf Fall's shoulder, hiccuping quietly and the tears still streaming down her face. I'd be even worse if Leaf Fall wasn't here, I'll have to thank him later..."

Soul trotted forward, knowing that the foxes behind him were ready for this grim task. A whisp of fox scent came across him, but it was too faint to know to whom it belonged.

Phantom was gazing into the thin air, until he noticed a green glow forming around Jupiter. He rushed over. "Um, Jupiter, what just happened? Or was it just me eyesight?" Phantom asked, amazed by what just happened. And I heard some soft bell-like singing as well...

Hope paced camp longingly, not really doing anything but thinking and pacing endlessly.

Shira felt very sleepy and her eyelids were almost covering her eyes but she knew she had to stay awake untill Soul got back.

((TOI- Firstly, Phantom is not journeying with Ryuu, Soul, Jupiter and Apollo, if you haven't read, they are on a quest to kill Creo. Secondly, no one could hear the prophecy except Jupiter, sorry. Third, please avoid dead-end posts, these are no fun for anyone. Thank you. Silverstar- Soul and the others will not be back for a while. ))

Shiko shook her head sadly, watching as the others left, she just sat there for a while, absorbed in her own thoughts. She wondered about the past, the present.... the future. What would it hold? Death? Vengeance? Or... Hope? Clearing her head she trotted back to the Alchemist's den, sorting mindlessly through herbs. Her mind was troubled, though her expression didn't show it.

Yuri finally recovered from the shock of it all, his heart rate slowed gently. Shakily, he got up and went to the prey pile. Picking up a rabbit, he began to tear into its cold flesh. The hunters hadn't been able to get out in a while. The meat was tough and stringy, but it satisfied his hunger either way.

Jupiter's face was a mask of surprise, slight terror, and an unsurpassed expression of awe. I just got a prophecy. She thought to herself excitedly. Kinari chose me to find a key! But what could the prophecy mean? She puzzled. It was of the utmost importance she figured that out, but at the moment she would have to juggle searching and killing Creo if she could. Her paws shuffled beneath her in agitation and anxiousness. I promise by my faith to you Kinari that I will find that key! She said determined and then kept moving. She cast a look at Phantom and smiled. "Uhh...I don't know. Maybe just a trick of the light." She shrugged and tried to avoid the subject. Something told her that now was not the time to go spreading the word that she had received a prophecy.

Jakei searched for Yuri. "Yuri!" He called, spotting him, and trotting over. "I am sorry for neglecting your training. Soul's orders have had to be obeyed." His eyes glittered with regret.

Leaf Fall could feel Raven choking and sobbing and he began to groom her in a further act of comfort. It was the closest he had ever been with her and through the pain and agony he was feeling, he derived a slight guilty pleasure. "It is going to be ok Raven. You'll see. No matter what, I am here for you." He whispered, finally finding his voice, though it came out stronger than he expected. The conviction in his voice surprised him.

Yuri had finished his rabbit by the time Jakei approached him. His tongue was halfway out and on his foot from washing himself when Jakei walked up. He was frozen like that, listening to him for a bit, then realized his tongue felt dry. He quickly withdrew it and stood up, shaking the embarrassment off. "It's okay," he answered, although his voice was tinged with regret, "we have to do what's best for the leash."
