Forever through the darkness.
Wind whipping like pain through your heart,
Unable to stand, unable to sit.
You keep running on and on and on
Silent footsteps trace your route
Through the darkness you're running on foot.
SIlently floating the followers are.
They know why you're running and they know where you are.
You've ran so far
Yet you've ran so little.
You'll never escape so don't even try.
The followers know where your planning to hide
Bury them deep but they will come back.
The longer you ignore them the harder they'll track;
Along the roads to follow you,
Floating around you in everything you do.
Yet I'm still running in the darkness
Running through the night.
Running out the pain
Running without a light.
The longer you ignore them the harder they'll track;
Along the roads to follow you,
Floating around you in everything you do.
Yet I'm still running in the darkness
Running through the night.
Running out the pain
Running without a light.
It all started with one wolf. Immaculate fur black as black as his soul, scarlet eyes red as the blood on his graying muzzle, a body littered with tracks of scars, as if a knife was brought to the taut skin. This wolf, brutish by appearence, worse by personality, could have ruined this land forever in just a flick of his greedy paw. But those paws held individual cutting utensils, and this land wasn't left without a scar.
Jagger was his name. He was born to two loving parents, beautiful Kira and wise Adolfo. He was given the name Solar at first, but he grew to hate it. It seemed all the love went to his three other siblings, rather to him, who was a hard-worker. His rank, pup-sitter, disgusted him to the point he attacked and killed every single pup. A disturbed wolf, the pack kicked him out, leaving him with severe battle scars he might not live to see heal. However, with each day, he grew stronger, fueled by hate.
According to elders, in every situation he came out victorious because of his vigorous spirit. The alpha of his current pack "mysteriously" disappeared, as well as the beta, and soon the delta pair. No one knew how they died..except for Jagger. His lust and infatuation for power had been quenched as each wolf's blood sunk into the earth. Silent vigils were held as well as a burrying. The wolves were bickering between eachother, pointing tails until it got out of hand. Promising for better living, Jagger elected himself alpha, and the confused wolves went along with it.
One day, after a good feast on one of the elk Jagger dispatched, the lead healer of his pack (The Burning Ashes) began to fall into fits of shaking and visions. The brute didn't know how to react this time. Suddenly, as if her body had been posessed, she stood and began to spit a throng of curses at him, eyes shifting to a blinding white. "Murderer!" She howled, voice crazed. "What do you mean?" The alpha questioned, though his voice shook. He knew she knew. A crowd had formed around them. "He did it! Killed everyone of the high ranks! Admit it now or this land will be cursed.." She growled, and Ahiga stumbled backward. "I-I didnt! I swear! What are you--" Suddenly, the lead healer thrust herself onto Ahiga, shoving them both over the cliff. A chorus of blood-curdling howls could be heard, and then a great splash. The sky grew dark, with lightning ravaging the land. Prey was scattered, wolves were bloodied, and fires still captured everything in it's unforgiving grasp.
The land was forgotten for many years, used as a tale to scare pups into being good. Centuries later comes a new pack, Shining Moon, with no idea of what had happened before them. Jagger was a myth to them. Will Dream let the pack fall, or will she lead them to greatness that they're destined for, even with her real, vivid memories of Jagger, her father.
