Actually, one '09 rare IS worth two '12 store pets.
While the trade is still unfair to your Kristalli, it's not "very" unfair to you. You could just take off your two halloween pets and replace them with a 2011 uncommon for the lion, or take off the lion and the halloween pets and it should be fine.

Unfair to them I think. I'm not sure what the worth of the horse and wolf plushie though, so get a second opinion.
