/ RULES/
-There is an adoption limit of five Tauren per person.
-No spamming.
-Don't whine if you don't win; I'm sure there will be enough for everybody! :3
-Be nice <3 We're all friends here.
-If you wish to adopt, click on your chosen Tauren ['adopt me' will be visible] and follow the instructions there. Do NOT post forms on this part of the thread.
-Do not ask for customs. They will be given out if and when I decide to.
-Adhere to all art theft rules- be creative with your form 8D
-This is a closed species; you cannot make your own.
-Don't take the concept or design.
-Have fun :'D

/ THE SPECIES /
Tauren are about the size of a horse. Males are usually bigger, with thicker fur and denser muscles. They have four eyes with excellent vision, capable of seeing extraordinarily well in the dark, and a set of venom-tipped fangs inside their mouth. They are predominantly carnivores; eating any and all meat they can hunt, humans are no exception to this rule [unless the human is their partner, or partnered with another Tauren]. Their fur is thick and shaggy, yet seems to hold no heat. The reason for this is yet to be discovered.
Tauren are surprisingly social, living in small groups of up to five. They frequently come into contact with other groups, and seem to have no exact territory; they are happy to share with those of their kind. When it comes to hunting, they are brutal but fast- and food is shared amongst them. Watch this space- more information is coming.

/ BREEDING /
Tauren only have one offspring at a time, which is brought up by the mother. Each Tauren has a breeding limit of three.
If both Tauren are owned by you, you keep the calf. If it is a breeding between two owners, the calf ALWAYS stays with the owner of the female.

In a planet we once knew as Earth, the human race is dying. It is a broken land, gravity weakening and the atmosphere drifting away- exposing surviving life forms to deadly rays from the sun. In a desperate attempt to save life, a small group of extraordinary humans fled into outer space; in which they floated helplessly for many years. One night, however, this was not the case. They found the planet Core- larger than Earth and covered entirely in dense, untouched rainforest. Trees of unimaginable height, vivid plants and endless thickets of vines were all they found; it was a silent world. For once, they had hope.
But in the midst of the forest, they were being watched.
