The winds rushed outside the camp. A giant wall of sand engulfed the desert. Nothing was visible outside the camp.
Silverwater started trembling. The winds were never this high before.
Boneclaw rested his tail on Stormpaw. he knew, never being in a sandstorm before, that she would be scared.
Splashingriver was unconscious.

Bramblestrike could feel Silverwater trembling next to him. "It's okay, we'll be fine." He said reassuringly, though he was not so sure.

[Spirit Lion]

Stormpaw perked her ears, then quickly flattened them. She curled her tail closer to herself and jumped, then she realized it was only her mentors tail. She made herself relax as much a he could, then stiffened at the wind yowling. She shifted and laid down, setting her head on her paws.

[Quitting•]

Silverwater looked at him, her boney frame still trembling. "I know, it's just..the wind. I think theres something ominous about it," she meowed.
Boneclaw chuckled slightly at his apprentice. "I didn't think a hair could scare you!" He teased

Stormpaw smiled and half way sat up again. "It's just a bit scary." She bided her mentor a little and twitched her tail.

[Quitting•]

Boneclaw smiled. "Yes. I remember my first sandstorm. Boy, it did not go pretty. I swear I was everywhere at once!"

[Spirit Lion]

Stormpaw laughed a little, sitting up fully. "I dont think I could see you like that." Her voice held a small purr.

[Quitting•]

"Yeah. After that, I tried to be the best warrior I could be. That day, I let one of my elders be swept away by the storm. I still can never forgive myself." Boneclaw mewed. He bowed his head as he remembered Downswoop. She was a young, fun elder, and the clan was devastated by her lose.

[dr. pugs]

Echostar pricked her ears, listening to the howling wind. It bounced around the skeleton, its noise like one thousand loud shrieks. The sand poured into the enterance of the skeleton, sealing them in, Echostar could do nothing but sit back and wait. The guilt pawed at her but she could do nothing. "Downswoop was such a great elder, it wasn't your fault Boneclaw," she told him gently. "Accidents happen" she added quickly trying to get her mind off the storm, even though the noise made it hard.

"I now but, I just feel that I let my clan down. All I know is my apprentice is more mature than I was," Boneclaw meowed over the wind and sand, spitting after he spoke.
