Oh I am thrilled that he had a home, Mom and love before he died. Never once have I regretted getting him or on the hundreds of $s I spent on him. I think of him daily and miss him constantly.

That was a beautiful story, thank you for sharing.

As someone involved in animal rescue, I'd say that's pretty much what it's all about. No matter how short the time they spend with you, that pet passed away having known what it was like to be safe, and happy, and loved - something they may never have known before. You're an angel for giving him that.

The story of my Bumble Bee:
It started in Summer of last year. I do some online volunteer work for a shelter in Kentucky. They are great people who think every animal that comes in deserves every chance to get a home. Most shelters will put to sleep the ferals, bad breeds, injured, etc.

Bumble had been hit by a car and left for dead. The shelter workers went to pick him up. He was pretty messed up and they rushed him to the vet. Even in as much pain as he was in, he was still the sweetest kitty. The vet removed the top of one of his back legs and the ball of his hip. He was doing ok and I decided to adopt him.

Once we were able to set up transport, we planned to drive to pick him up. He started getting sick a week before we fot him. We drove about 7 hours to get him on August 1st.

He went to the vet and his injury by the car had caused some brain injuries. He was having almost constant seizures. Everything had to be done for him. Feeding, drinking, peeing, pooping... it was constant care. If I was going to be gone for longer than 2 hours, I had to take him with me.

On August 17th, he passed away in my arms. Even though I only had him for such a short time, he had his paws wrapped tightly around my heart.

I had a bunch of customs of him done here on CS on the art section. I've been bugging the item suggestion board for more items, especially wings, that would fit the warrior cat lineart. I then found an orange tabby that was adopted on the day Bumble Bee died. He is my prized posession. No dogtags, moonswirls, URs or anything would get him from me.

So finally a friend of mine, Ricorn, took mercy upon me and made me a set of angel wings for my angel kitty. Please dont bug mods for custom items.

That was a fantastic thing you did. You have a wonderful and caring heart. I'm sure that Bumble Bee is watching over you

He had been shot by someone. I'm a sucker for the orange tabbies. My friend Snook did my kitten Max and kitten Bumble in my sig.

I had a dream about an orange and white boy with a hurt leg. A couple weeks later, Max came into the shelter. My Bumble boy sent me Max.
