Flicka pricked her ears intentively and snorted, "I can hear a foal..." She whinnied in alarm. Without saying anything else she turned around and cantered towards the medows where she heard the sound. She looked around and spotted the small foal. Quickly she trotted to it and put her muzzle on its back, "Hello little one..." She said gently.

Storm Mae pinned her ears back flat against her neck. She cantered off towards the foal, which she could clearly see. Letting out a few bucks, her motherly instincts kicked in. The ones from when she almost had a foal, but it didnt make it through birth. She came charging down, making sure not to frighten the foal, and only the mare. She let out a wild scream, her hooves clashing against the rocky terrian. She slid to a trot and flashed her teeth, giving the foal either option of mares. She looks over at the foal and perks her ears forward, letting her know she wasnt out to harm her. She threw her head up at the mare, ears pinned and teeth flashed.

"h-hi" the little one spoke softly still upset and looked at storm mae

Hollister followed Flicka and snorted at the charging mare. He tensed his muscles under his dark ebony coat. His ears flattened.

Storm, not noticing the stallion, nudged the foal gently. She held her tail out and held her head high when she did notice him. With this foal, she would be going out of heat soon, but she wasnt yet. Her smells thickened the air around them slowly. She shook her mane, not noticing her own smell. Seeing the stallions pinned ears, she pinned her own, ready to protect her new foal. She flicked her tail around her legs and lowered her head, ears still pinned. She wouldn't leave this foals side or give up untill he did. She gazed hard at Hollister, her large muscles twitching under her thick skin.

[mindless.]

Hollister just snorted. He knew the mare had just met the foal but shook his head. The huge dark male gently nudged Flicka away. His tail flicked his muscled haunches. Obviously this other mare was lost and too much trouble for him. She would be claimed by another later on anyway. Unless she actually mated with a male and had the foal the scent would remain. The ebony stallion continued coaxing his mare away.

Flicka snorted and pinned her ears at the made, she bared her teeth back and followed her stallion.

Hollister turned his back on the mare and walked away. "You will have a fol of your own someday. It's okay." He assured her and nosed her shoulder.
