Sorge nicht, denn den Herrn liebt dich.
Er weiss alle, Sei nicht ängstlich.
Er hält dich in seinem liebenden Arme,
Sein Mitgefühl ist wirklich ernorme.
Er hilft dir, durch deine Schwierigkeiten.
Er ist dort in Frieden und Kriegzeiten.
Und wenn du brauchst Atempause
Dann er führt dich nach Hause.

Just making a post so I can follow here now. =)
I'm so excited on getting my new rats soon! My boyfriend is a little bummed out that they are going to be 2.5months old.. he wanted to raise them right from 5weeks. However, the only breeder in our province has gone into financial troubles and can't support having another litter.. so I am more than happy to take a few off her hands. =)
It's just unfortunate that there will be no one to get quality rats from anymore, and our local humane society rarely(if ever) has rats. Using the used site is rediculous because it is a bunch of teens who think they know everything about breeding and run their adoptions through there. I can't trust that. *Sigh*
But can't really dwell on that, I mean it'll be at least 2-3yrs before I will be "needing" rats again anyways. So who knows? =)

Have you ever had a rat?: Yes! Three in total! Zeus, Delilah "Boo", and Teyha. Zeus sadly passed away around May, leaving me heartbroken. Around my birthday in July, I rushed my mother out and we brought home Boo and Teyha. Boo is a russian blue, and Teyha is a russian fawn. They're pretty silly! They're doing great so far, and I hope it continues that way for a long time!

Have you ever had a rat?: I currently have one ratlet.
~~
Right now I have Daenerys. She's named after Daenerys from Game of Thrones, not just because she is american blue, (which is sorta silvery like Daenerys' hair color in GoT) but also her parents were siblings, much like Daenerys' parents in GoT. I got her from a rat breeder an hour's drive from here shortly after I had to put my other rat down because she had 4 tumors and stopped eating. D=
Onto the photos~
Thar she is in the car on the way home. She slept almost the entire car ride and happily stayed in my lap. XD

She's doing her favorite thing to do besides eating in this photo, sleeping of course. XD
There's really bad yellow lighting in this photo, her coat is closest to the first photo, just a bit darker now that she's older.

And finally here she is glaring at me for taking pictures of her while she sleeps like a creeper. XD
Her cage looks like a war zone right now because I bought her this ball made of sticks from petsmart to gnaw on, and the sneaky little thing pulled all of the connector sticks out and randomly tossed bits of wood everywhere... XD
Right now I am sick and attempting to stay away from her, because I am overly, and relatively unfoundedly paranoid. Shortly after we got her from the breeder, she got an ear infection and headtilt, like a few of the other rats in her little. We brought her to the vet and she went onto antibiotics for a week. (I found feeding an unwilling, new baby rat who doesn't yet completely trust you medicine is a surprisingly painful experience, especially if you have never fed a rat medicine before.) But that aside, her balance improved and she hasn't seemed to be in pain for the past 6 months or so that I've had her, so I think her ear is better. She still does have a head tilt though, the poor little thing. D=
