Breedable Adoptables - READ THIS

It is not possible to breed your CS pets.

To make up for this, we release occasional litters of '2nd-generation' (2nd-gen) or '3rd-generation' (3rd-gen) pets.

The 2nd-gen and 3rd-gen pets on CS were created by staff members. These pets are designed to look like the 'offspring' of other CS pets, and we usually release a different 'litter' each month. For staff, breeding CS pets requires coloring a new set of pets which have a mixture of the features found on the two 'parent' pets, and sometimes adding novel features to give the new pets their own personality.

It is not possible to automate this process because of the way CS pet images are created, so there is no way for you to breed your own CS pets.

Automatic breeding works on sites like Wajas because their style of adoptables is different. They don't have to draw heaps of images for every possible pairing, because the markings and colors of their pets are stored in separate layers which allows them to mix and change at will. We prefer to keep our markings unique on every pet by manually drawing every design, which unfortunately means that you'll have to make do with the 1 litter of pets we breed each month. As there are new pets for adoption every month (not including the breedings) we don't think you'll mind one bit

I was thinking about that when everybody talked about a breeding option. It crossed my mind that "that's gonna be hell of a lot pictures to draw".

I am so happy for the second gen pups and totally satisfied with that. I think it's perfect with those. It won't make it too much. There's so many other sites/games out there that has breeding options.
I just wanted to say that I've been totally satisfied all the time I'm really happy for the things you do already; don't work yourself to death.

But it would be fun if there would come out more second gen pups one day (no rush; the ones we have are still pretty new). I also have a small request/idea for those but I walk over and put that in the right thread

I like it better non breedable because with breedables everything would get out of hand. (especially for you, but for collectors too ) Anyways, I also wanted to say that I admire you for not giving up your site even though it is hard and doing your best to make everyone pleased. I love the 2nd gens! Keep up the good work!

But i didn't really know people were bugging you that much!
Its alright if there is no breedable adoptables cause the 2nd gen. pups are just as good as breedables!

Wow, I completely agree. Who does have the time for that kind of thing?

On the other hand, maybe you can make a poll each month or something asking us which previous adoptables(of your choice) would make good pairs. Dunno, that's just an idea.
