Hello Nick!
Here's my opinion of the new Oekaki.
A drawing smaller than 1,000 kB's takes a LONG time to save. If a drawing this small takes FOREVER to save, then I'd hate to see a drawing larger than this try to save. And my drawings are generally larger than 1,000 kB's.
It's quicker loading, and there's no longer a stupid gray screen that's boring to look at as you wait for it to load.
The buttons have been moved farther apart, so it will take some time for me to get used to their new positions. The "undo" and "save this pic" buttons in particular. I think I'm clicking "undo" when I'm really clicking "save". This is annoying.
The Oekaki drawing now fits to your screen, so that in turn helps drawing easier.
Oekaki now saves the colors you use. No more stupid extra layers marked "Colors used"!
While Oekaki saves your colors, you have a different way of saving them that I'm not used to. I personally liked the old way of saving colors better. You used to just be able to have a color and click in the box and it would save. Now you have your color, and you have to find a little "+" sign and click it, which then adds it to the box and saves it.
While this Oekaki method of saving colors has changed for the worst, they (CS staff) has upped the amount of colors you can save. Now there's no more running out of room saving all your colors!

The button design has changed, and some of them actually have color now. It seems to be easier to add more layers than it was before.

Scrolling has been improved. Before when you tried to scroll up and down, the Oekaki would magnify and get smaller depending upon which way you were scrolling. To actually get down to the bottom of the page to see your saved drawings, or up to the top to see if you had any messages, you had to manually grab the scroller and move it by clicking and holding with your mouse. Now, it's much simpler. If you want to scroll down to the bottom or top of the page, you simply click the scroller and scroll. If you want to zoom in or out on the Oekaki, you click the Oekaki and scroll. It's much easier and less time-consuming and frustrating now. Thank you so much for fixing this problem.
