Anna glared at Eleanor savagely, her violet eyes dancing with a purple flame that appeared to emit its own light. She said through gritted teeth, "If that girl hurts Alistair, I will kill her." The lights around her dimmed and changed to a dark red with her mood, and the ball of light at her shoulder that indicated her mood was completely black.
Kane glared at Eleanor as well, not bothering to say a word. The immense anger she incited within him was enough for him to want to set her on fire if she took one step toward Anna or Alistair. His dark green eyes were fixed on Eleanor in a venomous glare.
