Colby sighed as he woke up. He decided not to mope around all day because his sister would bug him all day with his phone. He'd leave it home today. He wen't and took a shower, then dressed in a leather jacket and a Beatles shirt, and black jeans. After he put his shoes on, he decided to go down to the carnival.

"Um ..." Pie smiled for a moment and nodded, "Yeah, heh, how'd you know?" She asked him with a laugh and took his hand to jump off the ledge. She started to walk next to him with her hands shoved in her pockets, then she stopped squinting as her eyes weren't hurting as much as they were before. Now you could clearly see the two different colors of her eyes and just how bright the left eye was. "I've seen those kinds of dogs at like pet shops and stuff, but my dad's dog is a mini shar pei, she's the cutest thing. The only thing is her fur is like a cow's," She giggled. "Most shar pei's fur obviously aren't like that," She said with a shrug. "And then her whole face is black-it's really cute." Once they got a bit closer she hurried over, "Are you alright?" She asked him, standing to where she was almost towering over him. Luckily he caught her on one of her good days otherwise she wouldn't feel like helping him or being as cheery as she was towards Jasper and Emily.

I looked up at the two "I'm fine" he nodded then sat up 'Peole saw me? What do I say now...? I thought to myself and ran some quick scenarios in my head, then remembered my phone. The thing that made me fall in the first place. Having no idea what to say, I grabbed it from my pocket and held it with only my fingers, since my palms wet win mediocre shape "oh" I said to myself in a hushed voice, seeing I had gotten a text from my dad, but I slid it off my back and put my phone away to look at the two "I fell because of my phone" I explained

Summer continued to head through to the carnival, a light bounce in her step. She was always enthusiastic about the rides, the candyfloss, and everything at the circus. After purchasing some of the tickets to access the rides, Summer side stepped into a line for a Ferris Wheel. It was her dream to have a boyfriend and for both to ride on one, then stop at the top. But she knew it would never happen... so why bother trying? I'll just enjoy it as an individual, she thought to herself, before taking a step forward as the line shortened slightly. It was still incredibly long and nobody was behind her; she was the last in line. But she didn't care, as long as she could get a turn.

• Summer jumped slightly as a boy walked over. She was a bit startled from the surprise appearance. "Sort of. Just got here, but I can't wait to try all of the rides," she responded to the boy, not seeing why she shouldn't reply. "Oh- and I'm Summer, Summer Marson. And you are?" she added, extending her hand for him to shake. She enjoyed meeting new people and making friends. It was nice to be able to add new people to her list, so that she had her options open when she was feeling bored or something. Usually, her friends were going shopping or something- she was out playing sports most of the time. Shopping wasn't awful, but it wasn't such a large interest that she was incredibly enthusiastic about. Besides- she barely had any money.
