She nodded, starting to dig at the dirt again. Within half an hour of furious digging he created a nice den big enough for both of them. The mouth was created so rain would run down instead of run inside; and with bushes around it was nicely hidden. She pulled Prince inside the den, looking down at him seriously. "I'm going to scavenge food, stay in her; be quiet and don't draw attention. I'll be back soon; don't you worry ok?" She gave him a nuzzle against his cheek.

Deuxyre:
Deuxyre padded off, looking behind her to make sure Prince wouldn't leave. She traveled through the streets carefully, trying to make it to the park's dumpsters. Water had increased, rain soaking through her coat again. She peered into a nearby trashcan, finding nothing worth taking. She looked into the next, finding a half eaten chicken sandwich and a roll of bread. She knocked over the next trashcan to make it easier to go through, finding a half eaten lunch in a McDonald's paper bag. Placing all objects in the bag, she trotted back to the den; along the way she thought about Shay. After a few moments she shook the thought, approaching the den.

Deuxyre entered the den, placing the food aside as she curled around Prince to keep him warm.
