OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!! LAST CHAPTER!!!
With a MASSIVE twist at the end.A Year Later
The crowd buzzed happily. Noise of happy, babbling wolves was all around, mingling with the scent of Spring blossoms in the trees. All through the garden wolves stood, all on their best behaviour. Fur was smoothed, paws were cleaned, and tails were fluffed. Little she-wolves wore flowers behind their ears, he-wolves wore weaved grass neck-bands.
Twilight stood with Rai at the end of the garden, three feathers behind her left ear and wide leather bands on her ankles. Her tail was fluffed to perfection and it curled neatly over her back. Rai had never looked this neat – around his ankles he had gold bands and a silver one around his neck.
The two of them stood upon a large stone structure, with big gem-encrusted rocks for decoration. A rope of beautiful blue flowers was strung between the trees above their heads. An aisle went from the stone platform all the way to the steps of the Alpha’s cave.
At the very top of the platform at the back stood Guapo and Dahlia. Rai and Twilight were on one side on a lower step, and on the other side was Copaci and Shadow.
Suddenly there was silence. The crown stopped talking and everyone looked down the aisle. At the very end they heard a loud, musical howl, and the immense pack gasped when two stags began walking down the steps of the cave.
In their antlers were flowers, leaves and vines. They wore beautiful silver armour around their necks and legs. They walked with a feel of majesty, their heads held high and their tails low. It was amazing.
When they had walked a quarter way down the aisles, two more came down the steps. Little she-wolves. In their mouths they carried cleverly woven baskets, filled with pretty red petal. As they bounced down behind the stags they swung their heads around, causing the petals to fly everywhere.
But suddenly, from at the end of the aisle was another howl. A lot louder and longer. The crowd of wolves eagerly looked up to see two wolves at the top of the steps. They looked absolutely stunning.
Merlia was dressed in a magnificent, glittering gown woven from the softest grass. They had put tiny gems in the grass to make it shine. The dress wasn’t green but white, for the grass had dried out so much it had turned that colour. Around her neck was a stunning necklace of dark amethysts, strung onto thin, bendy wood instead of horse-hair. Her ankles had gold around them, and behind her ears were huge, fluffy, brown feathers. She was an angle.
Ginger was amazing too. He had a full set of armour; head, feet and neck. All beautiful gold. They were encrusted with emeralds, bringing out the brown of his fur.
They both walked down the aisle with beauty and grace. The crowd gasped in astonishment as they passed, and Merlia politely smiled at each of them. Ginger held his chest out and head high, while Merlia was shy and quiet as she glided down the aisle. As they watched, a tiny, ball-shaped bird came and alighted on her head.
In a moment they reached the big stone and the two stepped up onto the top platform before Guapo and Dahlia. They smiled at each other, and Dahlia looked down to hush the crowd. They watched on eagerly.
“Our pack combines here today to celebrate the coming together of these two wolves. The Alpha’s guard Ginger, and Merlia, princess of the Mountains.” Said Dahlia.
“They are the most wonderful wolf couple in Beauran. We are delighted to celebrate their wedding. We do hope they stay together for eternity, and bring pups into our pack.” Said Guapo.
“Ginger, do you promise to keep this she-wolf for all time, heal her wounds, nurture her pups, and treat her with respect?” said Dahlia to Ginger.
“I promise.” He said.
“Merlia, do you promise to love this he-wolf forever, wrap his injuries, nurture your pups, and treat him with respect?” Said Guapo.
“I promise.” Said Merlia. As she said it, one of the little petal-pups came up the steps, holding a onyx and emerald necklace. She came around in front of the Alphas and reached up, draping in over both their necks.
“I now pronounce you mates for life!” said Guapo, and Merlia and Ginger leaned in for a little kiss. As soon as their noses touched the pack howled. It echoed through the garden, in the mountains. A wedded couple.

The crickets chirped happily. The garden was dark and lit only by two fires; one on was one side, and one on the other. Many wolves has enjoyed themselves way too much, and lay in heaps under trees. Twilight and Rai sat beneath an oak together, with Twilight leaning on his side.
Soon they heard footsteps. They both looked up to see Ginger and Merlia walking towards them. Merlia’s dress looked worn out, just like it’s wearer. She collapsed in a happy heap in the blossom-covered grass.
“Oh, I’ve had such a wonderful time!” she exclaimed. Ginger gave her a big lick on the cheek.
“That’s great!” said Twilight. Before they could have another rest there was another sound from near them, and Skye came bounding over. Blossom, who had grown to be a beautiful doe, followed her happily.
“Oh, I love parties!” she said. The others smiled.
“Hey, where’s Atea?” asked Rai.
“Oh, him?” said Skye. Atea was Skye’s boyfriend. “He’s eating. That wolf is such a pig.” Merlia giggled.
Twilight lay her head again. Rai’s shoulder was comfortable. She closed her eyes and relaxed her body. The crickets chirped all around and the only other sounds were wolves around the garden being weirdos.
She was about to drift off to sleep. But something didn’t feel right. For some reason she couldn’t sleep. A horrid feeling of wrongness arose in her stomach, and she lifted her head. The others were alarmed.
“Twilight?” said Merlia.
“There’s something wrong.” Replied Twilight, looking around. She could feel it in her bones. She looked up above her and peered through the canopy. The moon stared down at her, happy and bright. But suddenly, out of nowhere, dark, black clouds covered it. It was suddenly cold and darker.
The others gasped. Twilight looked to the side at the fire and it immediately went out. Just like that. No water, no warning. It just collapsed, leaving a pile of glowing ash. And the rest of the pack in the garden had noticed too.
Gaze and Tune charged over to them, as well as Amiria, Ihaka, Simbas and Gem. “What’s happening?” Amiria yelped.
“I… don’t know.” Replied Twilight, looking about frantically. Something was terribly wrong.
Then there was a scream. Merlia yelped and they all leapt up, pricking their ears in the direction it was coming from. There were thundering footsteps and suddenly a wolf leapt through their group, legs flying.
“Run! They’re coming!” she yelped. Twilight looked her father in the eye and they all suddenly took off. Merlia stood on the back of her dress and it tore of her broche, falling to the ground. She stopped to grab it, clearly upset.
“Merlia! Run!” yelped Twilight.
“My dress! My wedding!” she cried. Ginger charged forward and pushed her along, and the group kept running. In a moment they came to the steps of the Alpha’s cave. They were about to run up them when they heard a yell from not far away.
Shining eyes glowed out of the dark. Red, green, yellow, blue and brown. They were big, angry-looking eyes too. Gaze and Ihaka stepped forward and tried to protect their pack. The group cowered behind them. This time, Twilight was really scared.
Then she heard a noise from behind. They all turned to see Guapo, Dahlia, Tuteur and multiple other guards running down the steps. “Stop! How dare you threaten my pack?” snarled Guapo. He bounded off the last few steps and landed with a thud on the grass before the dark eyes.
“Oh, I dare!” snarled a voice. A red pair of eyes came forward, and snarled supported him around.
“Who are you?” growled Dahlia.
“You know me!” purred the voice. It was replied by a growl.
“You’re a red pair of eyes that just appeared in our beautiful gardens!” snarled Guapo, stepping forward. The dark shape didn’t go forward, obviously not wanting to reveal his true self yet. But Twilight noticed a shine on his chest and head. Armour.
“Oh, but you know me well, Guapo.” Said the voice. Guapo’s blue eyes stared in anger. “I’m your old friend, Armik.” There was a gasp. Tune fell onto Gaze, who supported her. Twilight spread her legs to avoid collapsing herself.
“Armik!” snarled a wolf near Guapo. Twilight looked up to see Arick, Tune’s older brother, snarling fiercely. “How did you get here?”
“Oh, well, I’d have to thank a certain Beauranian.” Replied Armik. Some wolves around gasped and looked around. “And she’s your sister.” Arick stumbled. He was caught by Dahlia, who helped him to his feet. Twilight choked and looked at Tune, who was looking taken aback.
“I didn’t tell you!” she growled weakly.
“Yes, you did. In your sleep.” Purred Armik, revealing his body. “It’s amazing what torture can do to people.”
