•The Wolves•
The Shiver is a complicated concept. Basically, you are human in the warm months, and wolf in the coldest. In the beginning, it's harder to control so you phase back and forth regardless of the weather. Each wolf has the same eyes as it does human,which makes them easy to tell apart and harder to keep secret... Shifting is also difficult. It's starts as a nauseous feeling accompanied by a headache, and hurts like h*ll when you finally rip from your skin and run away as a wolf. Changing back is no better, added that your naked... Just hope the wolf self wasn't digging in someones trash when this happens... As a wolf, you keep none of your human memories or thoughts. During the summer months, most wolves don't change at the same time; some earlier, some later. Eventually it gets later and later until you stop phasing all together and stay wolf...

•The Humans•
You have been very interested with the wolves in the forest, just beyond your backyard. You would rarely see them, but you swear they are the most beautiful wolves on the planet. The wolves you would see on the Discovery Channel, or Animal Planet were similar, but these wolves had the most varying color of eyes throughout the pack, almost none alike. One day though, in the heat of summer, you see someone at the store. They looked strangely familiar, but you couldn't pin point it. That night you realize what it was; Their eyes.

Time/Season= First Week of Spring, Saturday Morning...

Mercy Falls: The small town you live in, very little shops and stores and only one High School, plus Junior High and Elementary on the sides.


Boundary Woods: The woods that surround Mercy Falls- It isn't uncommon to have a backyard with no fence and mostly woods territory.


The Lake: Located only a few yard into the forest behind the large summer house.


Summer Refuge House (Wolves): The wolves occupy this house during the spring, summer, and some of the fall, all depending on who changes. Most new wolves after their bitten stay here, locked in the bathroom or basement for safety.


Safe House (Wolves): In case there's a rare day in winter when its warmer and someone changes; Food, clothes, a space heater, and a TV are inside so they need only to stay a short while before phasing back. Also handy for new wolves shifting back and forth inconveniently.

History: I was bitten when I was fourteen. Things weren't going so great in school, and my parents fought alot. I was also bullied by my sister about them. But then I fell sick and shifted one night when I was walking to a friend's house. All I remember is waking up naked in some bathroom and now here we are... I live with the other wolves now, they make me feel so welcome, and I'm much much more happier here.
