"Oh." was all Riptide said in return. He clenched his teeth together, angry. He looked over at him. What did they see in him? All Tide saw was a JMD who reads others' minds. He rolled his eyes and looked back at Shade.

Riptide! He'll think I'm a player, that I'll hurt Rosie. I never wanted this to happen... Polaris looked Cool and calm on the outside, but he was a shattered mess of confusing on the inside.

Now Polaris was angry. He snapped around. "Excuse me?" he said. But realized he may upset Rosie, and snapped back around, as if nothing happened.

rσsíє started to trace her name on the surface on the water, the ripples only staying long enough for one letter at a time. She just gave up on tracing her name, letting both her paws plop back down underwater and rest on the slightly rocky sand that was always under the surface of the beach water. "M'hmm. Never see any." She told him, frowning softly to think she hadn't ever seen on of the light pink shells that everyone else knew for their fame. Her eyes fell on his purple jewel, starting to wonder again. "What's it like having a purple jewel?.." She asked, not thinking before she said her thoughts out loud. She flinched softly as she saw Polaris turn quickly and say something to another JMD. How could he hear them from so far away, she thought, looking down at her reflection in the water.

She told him, smiling softly. "Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I had another jewel.. Maybe my name would be different.." She said, rambling a bit.
