I used to sing professionally for about 9 years of my life, then stopped because I had no time. Whilst doing so [and through high school as well] I did a lot of music theory, but was never tested by the RCM for my theory "level". Therefore I'm able to take a course this semester which is called The Rudiments of Theory.

I took it knowing I would ace it and get an A.

What I didn't know was that I would literally be learning... THE BASICS.

Tonight my three hour lecture is:

Chapter 1: Lessons 1-3

“Staff line, pitches, ledger lines, keyboard layout, note names, treble clef and accidentals”

SAVE ME NOW. I don't think I can sit through three hours of that. xD Thankfully the prof said we can come and go as we please. If it wasn't the first class I probably wouldn't bother going, but I would feel bad not attending the first lecture.

THIS. O.o 4 year olds should not look like 30 year olds. They wear bikinis and stilettos. Their moms are nut-jobs and the children are brats.

Woah. I learned almost everything besides accidentals and pitches when I started piano lessons at like seven. Save yourself, three hours of covering the very basics, which are probably forever in your head, is not worth being good and attending the first lecture. I would die.

How people are so self centered. Yes, 11 years ago today, lives were stolen from the victims of 9/11. At least pay your freaking respects to them. They didn't want to die. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but seriously. Just get over it and get over yourself.

Poor little Tulio can probably smell the nice freshcooked food... but we can't give him any because we need to cut his diet down to seeds and supplement 'cause feeding him our food has been giving him horrible fecal issues...

I know. ;n; but first class... I at least have to show up. xD Hopefully he'll end it short. I cannot go through three hours. Crossing my fingers it's only gonna take like half an hour. Unless my classmates are SUPER dense.
