"I don't know... " I said halfheartedly. "Stay awake, please..." I said. Inside I was panicking, I wasn't sure of what to do. I wandered into the kitchen, looking in the fridge and the freezer. One frozen rabbit was all we had, but it would take ages to defrost.. I growled frustratedly.

She mumbled a few things that didn't quite come out loud enough for anyone else to hear - but it was on the same topic of the creation of vampires. Her fingers curled into the pillow on occasion whenever she had too much pain to bear. Annie glanced over towards Griffin as he moved about the kitchen, a seriously confused and tired look on her face. She would try to stay awake like he wanted her to.

I could let her sleep it off, but I really didn't want to. I knew if I could just find something quickly, to give her a boost she'd be alright. As much as I didn't want to I'd have to go out and catch something, I rushed back to the couch."Try and stay awake alright, if you fall asleep.. I guess thats okay.. " I shrugged.

Her palms slowly pressed into the pillow so that she could attempt to look up at Griffin, but it was only a few seconds before she laid back down, flat. Annie blinked up slowly at him and murmured quietly, "You don't have to go."

I sighed."You want me to stay?" I asked, looking down at her. I figured I should just let her sleep it out..I guess. I waited for her response, thinking of what i could do to help her, pain-wise.

When Griffin asked her a question, her fingers ran over the couch pillow. She exhaled softly and gave a small smile, but didn't end up responding. Annie's eyelids finally shut and her cheek nuzzled against her pillow as she began to lull off, out of a conscious state.

I frowned as she drifted off. I just let her though, as I calmed myself down a bit. I sat on one of the opposite couchs and just watched her quietly. I'd stay with her for now, but in a little while I would go out on a small hunt. I hope I gave that stupid mutt more than a bad concussion for hurting Annie.

The blood would permanently stain the couch, but that didn't matter too much at this point. The more blood Annie lost the weaker she became, and the weaker she became the more she drifted into a deep sleep. Her hands fell limp and body lay still as her mind slipped off into a dream, unaware of her surroundings.

I wondered if maybe I could find something to stop her bleeding... It wouldn't hurt her if she asleep right? I really wasn't good with care gestures though..

The weakening of her body and pain levels increasing caused Annie's mind to slip slowly into a twisted dream, edging towards a nightmare. Minutes turned into hours in her dream, but not much time was passing out of it.

Ahead was Christie and beside her was a figure, darkened by the shadows. As the figure stepped forward he resembled Griffin, but the crimson irises and sharp fangs begging for my blood made me want to tell myself otherwise. I soon found myself running from them, my legs naturally carrying me even if I didn't want to move. They chased me - all of them. Paws and feet left trails and dust in the past as they closed in on their prey. On me. I couldn't see all of the faces that grinned and laughed as I tried to run, but I knew they were all familiar. Friends, enemies, they were all turning their backs on me. Suddenly, before I could run any further, I was tackled down into a pool of my own crimson liquid.
