Moonstar came out of his den, and he flicked an ear.

Splashkit watched as Redkit got to the fresh kill pile just before him, and he tried to stop, but he crashed into the fresh kill pile.

[walk.]

Redkit giggled and said, "He he, that was fun!" she looked up at Moonstar and glared at her father.

[wolf ;;]

Splashkit's head popped up from the fresh kill pile, and he shook a vole off his head. "It was." He purred.

Moonstar looked at Redkit, he caught her gaze and looked away from his daughter, then he jumped onto Highrock. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under Highrock for a Clan meeting."

[walk.]

Redkit sighed and watched the clan gather.

[wolf ;;]

Sparrowsong got her kits out of the den and twitched her ears.

"Today, five kits will be made into apprentices." Moonstar meowed. "Oakkit, Bluekit, Onekit, Firekit and Fangkit, come forward." He meowed.

Fangkit and Onekit bounded forward, but Bluekit, unlike Fangkit or Onekit, walked forward calmly, and flicked her tail.

[walk.]

Oakkit strode proudly forwards followed by the very excitable Firekit who skidded to a halt in front of Moonstar.

Moonstar purred with amusement, and he twitched his tail. "Oakkit, Bluekit, Onekit, Firekit and Fangkit, you have all reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day, until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Oakpaw, Bluepaw, Onepaw, Firepaw and Fangpaw. I ask StarClan to watch over you and guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of warriors. Cloudfoot, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be kind and loyal. You will be the mentor of Oakpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Oakpaw."

Cloudfoot flicked his ears, then the white tom got to his paws and went over to Oakpaw.

[walk.]

Oakpaw happily touched noses with Cloudfoot before stepping back.

[wolf ;;]

Moonstar blinked his eyes, tail twitching. "Shiverstep, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be brave and honest. You will be the mentor of Bluepaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Bluepaw."

Bluepaw flicked her ears, and she looked at Shiverstep.

Shiverstep purred and stepped forward, his back still had a huge scar from the fire when the kits was born and he remembered Bluepaw's younger sister and winced. He noticed Hawkfang staring at him and gave e large Tom a reassuring nod before touching noses with his new apprentice.
