Soul winced but sucked it up as Shiko dealt with his wounds. Finally, he couldn't take it any longer and he used his tail to lift Shiko's chin so that she had to look up at him. "Creo took Flare and left. They're going to go find Zargon," he said quietly, waiting to see how Shiko would react.

Raven was surprised to see Soul enter the camp alone. Copper, Sadira, Flare, and Creo were all still out of the camp, when Soul had explicitly said that everyone should stay in. Frusterated and bored, Raven waited for Soul to tell them what was going on.

Shiko stared at Soul, the nettle still held delicately in her claws. "I... they..." Shiko stuttered, then shook it off. "Creo had a corrupted heart..." she finally sighed quietly. She continued to stitch up Soul's wounds. "If they do come back with Zargon... We'll be ready..."

"Thank you," Soul said, shaking himself as Shiko finished up. He started to pad out of the den but then turned around to face her, tears welling up in his eyes. "How could I have failed those two so badly?" he asked. Not giving her a chance to respond, the leash leader wiped his paw across his face and padded into the clearing. He went and jumped up on his stump before calling to the foxes. "Please wake everyone up and get them out here," he said, "I have something important to share"

Shira slowly walked over to a bush and hid behind it and watched a fox. her heart was pounding she was scared she would be seen.

Apollo flicked his bushy tail in surprise as he saw Soul mount the stump. "We'll have to go hunting later," he said to Raven. "It looks like Soul has something to tell us..." His voice trailed off as he saw the urgency in Soul's eyes.

Shiko shook her head sadly, "It wasn't you, Soul." she murmured to herself before padding out of her den. She sat at the edge of the gathering foxes and sat down, looking up at Soul.

Yuri's ears pricked and he bounded over to where the others were gathering, he sat down, his tail twitching in anticipation.

Ryuu's intense gaze turned to his leader, he had already been sitting down near the stump. He sat quietly, his tails occasionally whisking through the air.
