Gosh I love dragons and the word rune a lot and just runes in general
So I guess I can try applying <::::

Would you like to breed him/her in the future:
His design is so pretty yet simple, so yes I think I would!
Any Quirks:
Tilts head to the side repeatedly when curious or confused. Takes small hops in circles when excited! Bows his head down a little when shy or embarrassed.
Other:
The wind whistled and howled between the trees , giving their firm branches a thorough rustle while Insects of all types hovered around in the summer heat , buzzing about their business.
Betwixt the winding forest there lay a clearing , with patches of white and yellow where small flowers grew and nestled, and young rune dragons that came out to play and feed. Marvelous creatures that resided among the small crevices and sides of the mountain 's edges that lay visible in the clearing.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I sighed with every step deeper I took into the forest, branches cracked and moaned under my feet, as if they themselves wanted for me to get over this as quickly as possible.
"It's not my fault they're making me fix the water this month!", I hissed into the clean air.
The brilliant sun hurdled across the sky as the hours passed , sweat clinging my cotton shirt tight to my chest making me feel more than uncomfortable and stuffy.
I sat down on a nearby log to take a breather , pulling out my water bottle out from my small backpack as I made myself comfortable between the smoother ridges of the decomposing tree.
My head tilted back to the view above me, bursts of vibrant shades of green and faded yellows hung above from beautiful, lush , brown branches and birds of many colours flew from canopy to canopy.
My brief examination of the beautiful leaves came to a halt when I felt a sudden loud buzzing in my ear.
"N-NO!", I screamed , launching myself away as far possible from the horrible noise.
A vivacious steel blue dragonfly hovered around the log innocently , then sped off deeper into the forest.
I stood there with my back against a towering tree , it's ridges burying into my back , gasping and puffing trying to regain my composure.
Hopping away from the tree and shaking off anything that could have gotten on my clothes , my brows furrowed and I sighed.
"Friggin' bugs."
My displeasure at recent events suddenly turned into excitement and relief as I recalled the dragonflies don't stray to far from water, and so I was closer to finishing this laborious task.
-----------------
Taking a deep breath of relief , I made my way across the clearing to the small shack hidden between the mountain's valley curves.
Everything was old about the shack except the door, which was made from new, sturdy, varnished wood, making it look like quite the bizarre spectacle.
"That's dumb." , I concluded as I stuffed the key from my pocket through the lock , giving it a rough turn to the right.
The lock clicked and the door swung inwards , banging on the old musky walls and dropping a truck-full of dust.
I was about to make a stupid remark about that too , but the sound of rapid scurrying and fluttering kept me silent, shadows briskly moved against the wall and promptly dispersed.
I held my breath for a while longer , my eyes darting all over the room for signs of life, only finding mushrooms and moss in the corners of the shack.
Letting out a deep sigh I headed over to the corner where the big water pump gurgled and huffed , sliding my backpack off so I could uncover the tools I needed to adjust this thing.
I was wary of my surroundings and constantly looked over my shoulder to see if anything was moving.
"Must of been rats, this place is so darn dark and gross.", I reassured myself.
Being pretty experienced in how to adjust the pipes and water level, I was pretty much done with the whole job when from the corner of my eye I see a long-legged copper spider on the windowsill.
My eyes widened with fear and my whole body shook as I took a few steps back from the small insect , keeping my sight on it at all times.
My eyes weren't the only ones glaring at the arachnid , bright aqua blue eyes shimmered from the far side of the windowsill , carefully studying how the spider carefully moved along.
The scales shown brightly , even in the dim light of the shack , emerald greens , like the tops of the forest trees , they were beautiful and detailed and for a few moments I forgot about my fear of the insect.
The blue eyes glanced over at me , studying me for a while as if trying to decipher I was safe or not , they seem to have registered me as 'not a threat' for the mysterious creature slowly lurched forward into the light.
I took a few steps back in awe at the beautiful creature , it was a dragon , and it was right in front of me.
My mind didn't know whether to be afraid or just plain happy with myself to be so privileged to see such a rare sight in this place.
The emerald scaled creature lowered his head and kept his line of sight focused on the spider, the room grew quite , the only sound being the water pump's low monotonous rumbling.
A thick slimey tongue whipped out in a matter of few seconds and attacked the unknowing spider, leaving only droplets of saliva where it once stood.
The dragon made a few noises of delight that sounded a bit like a rumbling cellphone and then promptly turned towards me , cocking his head to one side in curiosity.
I hadn't noticed how intently I studied every one of his scales , running over every shine and pattern with my eyes , it was all mesmerizing.
I drew closer back to the windowsill in an attempt to bond with the creature , he would bow his head if I moved too fast and then I would stop until he busied himself with cleaning his claws.
He caught me eventually and glided down from the windowsill and began sniffing and poking my legs , making me freeze and place , the tools for fixing the water pump still in my hand making my palms sweat.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sun was cradling itself in the west , decorating the sky with purples , pinks , and blues. It was late , the air was cool and a fresh breeze rattled the doors of the old shed.
I lied stretched out on the grass looking at the sky , shivering every now and then with the chilly wind.
"Oh man I forgot , dad must be looking for me like crazy by now." , I spoke out suddenly.
Hesphross , what I decided to name the emerald dragon , was busy playing with my feet and looked up as I spoke.
He cocked his head to the side like he always did when he was curious, his eyes smiled and the blue blazed around his pupils.
I sat up and raised a hand to touch him , he drew back several inches but then raised his head, and I ran my hands softly over the smooth emerald scales, they were cold but made me feel warm strangely.
He hopped around me in excitement as I stood up reluctantly to head back home, gently nibbling the edges of my faded blue jeans.
"I want to play and cuddle with you more but I have to go or my dad will kill me haha." I smiled forcefully.
Hesphross followed me to the edges of the clearing , eating lightning bugs as he trotted alongside me, teasing me with one between his jaws , knowing I'd always gave him a funny disgusted face.
I turned around and looked at him again, studying all his features and how he smiled so brilliantly with his eyes, envying his enthusiasm.
"Promise me you'll come to me again when I come back?" I asked, with a saddened frown.
"I'll bring a net and we can catch bugs together and you can show me your home."
He looked up at me and snorted , always smiling with his eyes.
