Yep, there's now a space on the form for an optional drawing of the character - it's just for bonus points, and the rest of the form still has to be at least acceptable, but it hopefully will help out people whose strengths are more in drawing than writing. ^^ The drawings are required to be 100% done by the potential adopter (no linearts or recolours of any sort), and they are judged in much the same way the forms are to determine how many points the drawing earns. Here's a copy of my post on the main thread, since that explains the evaluation fairly thoroughly and has a couple of tips on it:

Regarding the new art option, your drawing(s) will be judged in a similar manner to the form, so creativity and personality are the most important things to convey in it. :3 Artistic skill isn't a huge factor so long as the drawing is 'readable', so to speak - as with the written part of the forms, a creative idea will usually beat out something that is beautifully done but lacking much creativity. As with the background portion of the form, if you draw something for the character, use it to show who the character is. A standard headshot won't get as high a score as a scene of the character interacting with its environment, responding to something, etc.
