Vreck stepped forth and put his hands on either side of Josh's head, and merged their minds so they became one being, and then he listented.

Shaift stood beside Vesta, he had ridden what she called a 'bus' and sat next to her, his hand in hers the whole way there, and he stood in the entrance to the school, and blinked a couple of times at the chaos before him, this was nothing like the last time he was at school, "Man, things change." he whispered to Vesta, his hands in his pockets since he couldn't hold hers here.

Vesta smiled, breathing in the air of the school. She was happy to be back, the holidays had been so boring... Well the first half, was anyway. She looked at Shaift "C'mon" She walked him to the front office and started talking to the lady at the desk. "Hello, this is Shaift, it's his first day" She smiled politely and pulled Shaift forward a little so she could see him.

The lady looked at him, typed on the computer "Sorry, no student under that name." she said, and Shaift piped up, "Try Dern, that's my real name." he said with a small grin." and this time a hit popped up, she passed him a schedule and sent them on their way.

Vreck stepped back, "There is someone inside your head." he blurted, shocked.

Vesta frowned, "Why is it Dern?" She whispered to him as they walked out of the office.

Shaift, or Dern shrugged, "Shaift is a little to not human." he said to her, as he shook his head, the braid dancing as he did so, smiling at her.

Vesta frowned at him, "But it's original". She smiled the frown gone, she walked Shaift/Dern to his first class and told him to meet her outside of his home/form class.
