Oakstorm watched Goldensong, and he decided it was time he told her how he felt. I bet I'll make a mouse-brain out of myself. He thought, and he followed her, sliding down the mud slope and nearly falling face first into the mud. When he got to the bottom he looked at the she-cat. "Goldensong? Could I talk to you?"

Littlepaw sighed, then she nodded and padded out of the den.

[walk.]

Goldensong mewed, "Sure Oakstorm, what is it." she kept her gaze on the muddy track straight ahead, avoiding it with her paws. Her tail stood straight up in the air.

[wolf ;;]

Ok, time to make yourself look completely mouse-brained, Oakstorm. He thought. "Well, uh, Sparrowsong suggested that I talk to you." He began. For StarClan's sake, if Goldensong doesn't like me the same way I will strangle Sparrowsong. He thought, then he spoke again. "Umm...well, she told me that I should tell you that I like you, but more then a friend..." Great job Oakstorm, she's going to think your the dumbest cat ever!

[walk.]

Goldensong mewed, "Oh that's real sweet Oakstorm, I like you too!" she hadn't quite heard the last bit, and continued padding onwards, but her bright green eyes turned to face him for a split second, before turning away.

[wolf ;;]

Oakstorm flicked his ears, he guessed she hadn't heard everything he had said. "Did you hear everything I said or only a bit?"

[walk.]

Goldensong mewed, "I only heard you liked me, why? Did you say something else?" she thought to herself, What is he playing at!? Saying her likes me, the truth is, I do like him do but I must try and appear superior to him, it would ruin my reputation if I didn't!

[wolf ;;]

"Well, that must mean that that you didn't hear me say that I like you more then a friend." Oakstorm meowed.

[walk.]

Goldensong stopped and mewed, "Oh..." she sat down in the ferns and mewed, "The truth is, I like you too Oakstorm... I guess I've been afraid to admit it."

[wolf ;;]

"I have to admit, I was afraid of saying something too, incase you didn't feel the same way." Oakstorm meowed.

[walk.]

Goldensong looked into his eyes and mewed, "Well Oakstorm, I do, I do indeed feel the same way about you. We don't have to hide it anymore."
