Sandyfern sighed. "Moonheart's already on his way to Moonstone, and we can't stop him unless a cat goes after him and tells him something is happening at camp. Anyway, we can't convince Emberheart to change his mind."

[walk.]

Yellowsparrow growled, "I will take care of it. I am the deputy of this clan, no matter what anyone says and it is my job to keep my clan safe." he mewed, "Right, I want a patrol near storm clan border, where Reedpaw died, K want Reedpaw's body prepared for vigil, come and see me if you want to sit it with him, he will be a warrior but Ai will do it, Moonstar will bless him tomorrow, I also want two hunting patrols, and another to collect water."

Littlepaw listened to Yellowsparrow, then she padded into the apprentices den. "Swanpaw?"

Autumnsky looked up. "I can take one of the hunting patrols." She offered. "And I can take the patrol near the StormClan border." Foxgaze meowed, hearing the deputy.

[walk.]

Flareleap mewed, "I will take one of the hunting patrols." Fuzzyfur mewed, "Then I'll take the water patrol."

Yellowsparrow nodded and mewed, "Ok, Autumnsky will take Amberflight and Shimmerfur. Foxgaze, take Shadepetal and Hawkfang, I will keep an eye on Whisperpaw. Fuzzyfur, Fastwind and Patchfang then finally, Flareleap, Oakstorm and Goldensong."

Swanpaw looked up and mewed, "Yes Littlepaw? Why are you even talking to me..."

Autumnsky nodded, and she padded over to the entrance of camp, waiting for Amberflight and Shimmerfur. Shadepetal flicked her ears, and she went over to Fozgaze and blinked her good eye. Patchfang blinked, then made his way over to Fuzzyfur. Oakstorm smiled softly and nodded.

"Was it really Whisperpaw who killed Reedpaw?" Littlepaw murmured.

[walk.]

Amberflight padded over to Autumnsky followed by Shimmerfur who stared at the floor. Hawkfang strode over to Foxgaze and his sister. Fastwind went to Fuzzyfur and finally Goldensong to Flareleap.

(Shall we just followed Flareleap's patrol?)

Swanpaw nodded and mewed, "I was the one who tried to stop him... Yet nobody believes me..."

Autumnsky looked at Amberflight and Shimmerfur. "Lets go." She meowed, and she padded out of camp. Shadepetal looked up as her brother came over, and Foxgaze made his way to the entrance of camp. Patchfang waited for Fuzzyfur to lead the way. Oakstorm purred softly as Goldensong came over to join him and Flareleap, but he quickly hid it.

"I believe you." Littlepaw meowed, then she sat down. "I just can't believe anyone would kill Reedpaw..."

[walk.]

Fuzzyfur padded out of camp.

Flareleap mewed, "Right, we are going to the abandoned two leg nest, I'll hunt in the nest, you two outside." she sped off. Goldensong nodded and padded silently into the forest.

Swanpaw mewed,"Whisperpaw didn't mean too, he was attacking a storm clan cat on their own territory so Reedpaw tried to stop him, but Whisperpaw got so carried away in the attack, he killed Reedpaw."

"He should still be punished." Littlepaw meowed.

Oakstorm nodded, and he flicked his tail, padding into the forest.

Swanpaw mewed, "I know, but so should Brazenfire, I think he knows but he doesn't want to be punished for sending three apprentices so close to an enemy clan border by themselves."

Goldensong turned slightly, sliding down a muddy slope on her hind legs, trying to avoid getting mud on her pure white paws. Her green eyes flittered, yet the she cat stayed quiet.
