The story read itself at this point, Burlesca had the words memorized by heart, the story tells itself in her head and she sees the scenes with relish. The small snowflakes are now turning heavier with her excitement, the flow down busier and quicker to the pace of Burlesca's beating heart, soon the trees are mushroom-capped with white and her little pond is fit for skating.
Still the lavender dragon seemed oblivious to her surroundings, just entwined in the story.

Lorenzo sat in some long swaying grass, studying the butterfly's and how they fly. He grabbed a flower and ate it. Lorenzo was different to other Jewl Mane Dragons.

It snapped Burlesca out of her trance, a large bobcat had found it's way to her little winterized spot. The animals were annoyed with the early coming of what they thought was truly winter, large wolves and cats lead by a fierce bobcat had surrounded her. Burlesca dropped her book and pressed her back agianst a tree, frozen for once, she swallowed and silently apologized in her mind. The advancing bobcat pranced and she shut her eyes,

Lorenzo heard the sharp growl of a bobcat. Straight away he pin pointed it's location and bounded over there. He spotted Burlesca pinned agaisnt a tree.
"I've read about this before.." he mumbled. He saw a rock and picked it up in his jaws. With as much energy as he could he threw the rock at the large cat. It turned and eyed him. Lorenzo gulped.
