RunningKit washed his face in the water to clean off the blood. He limped over to the camp entrance and waited for MoonStar. He wandered about being a medicine cat, and hoped the forest terrain would not be too hard to walk across.

Moonstar saw a glistening leaf. Marigold! She ran and pulled the leaf.

FeatherPaw, done washing her fur, went into the forest to hunt alone. As she pasted RunningKit she whispered to him; "You'll always be a kit. Never a warrior."


"Your wrong, I'll be the warrior against the wounds that threaten our clan. I'll battle even harder battles than you and hunt herbs to heal the sicknesses. I'll always be a warrior at heart." RunningKit replied.


FeatherPaw growled and stomped off into the forest.

RunningKit sighed. Why didn't his sister love him?
