The Cycle (Dragon love/war) ~needs Sunstreak members badly!~

Luna could stand it no longer "STOP IT, PLEASE JUST STOP IT" she screamed tears streaking down her face, "IS IT NOT BAD ENOUGH THAT WE HAVE LOST MANY LOVED ONES, NOW YOU WANT US TO LOSE MORE?" as she said that her voice wavered, "im sorry i just dont see the point in all this fighting" she struggled to speak, then her tears getting the better of her she hung her head low and wept "Im sorry Ice, i just cant take it any more"

Ice understood, Luna had a point. She felt sympathy for Luna, and for all the others who had lost there lives, or lost someone close to them "Its ok Luna. Your right, there is no point in fighting." Then she said underneath her breath so very quietly "Well at least not yet........." Then she looked at Violet "I shall not fight you anymore, while we remain here. Unless of course i have to defend myself. What about you?" It was of course a retorical (I think i spelt that right......)question, and not only was she questioning Violet, but also all of Sunstreak clan, she hoped they would all realise this was a stupid reason to fight, but if not...........if the worst came to the worst and they HAD to fight to protect themsleves......................................

Violet hesitated, and then nodded slowly. "Of course I don't want fighting to occur." As soon as she said this, all the Sunstreak dragons stopped fighting and looked at her with confusion. "As long as we can drink from the river... but otherwise we have no choice. It's better to die in battle than of starvation." She took a step back from Ice to show her willingness for peace. She was still mad about the insults to her father... but perhaps they hadn't been intended seriously. In any case, it wasn't right to prolong a battle for personal reasons. She should have only her own clan's needs to consider.

Ice nodded "You may drink here, as long as you leave us in peace as we drink here, those are my only conditions." and with that she turned around and walked further into where the few other Midnight dragons where, where she lay down and thought Hmmmmmm maybe we should go back? or hunt for something, most of us haven't had food in a while. or we could stay here...........and try to make peace with the Sunstreak dragons? No of course not, that will never be an option! But of course we can make peace to a certain extent

"Deal." Violet said firmly. She started to drink from the river as fast as she could. She was really, really thirsty, especially after all that fighting. The other Sunstreaks started to drink as well.

Thorn glared at the dragon who had attacked him and then he lay down near Ice, still staring at the Sunstreak dragons drinking from THEIR part of the river. However, what Ice had said did make sense.

Ice looked at Thorn, she knew he wasn't happy with her decision, she lent over to him "Thorn, i don't want them here as much as you do, but it's the only thing we can do without losing more lives, from both sides, and don't worry, i'm sure they won't be here long, and its not like they'll be coming here everyday" She paused and whispered to him "Also as soon as they hurt any Midnight dragons, even if it has nothing to do with the river, i'm not letting them drink here, and they can drink in there own part of the river" and with that she turned around and continued watching the Sunstreak dragons drinking.

Thorn sighed slightly. "You're right, of course. I don't want any more Midnight dragons to die. But if I were you, I wouldn't be so sure that the Sunstreaks won't try to come here more often. I don't trust them as far as I could throw them." He said. I wish I could throw them. He thought angrily. Throw them right off our land... but otherwise I wish they'd just leave us alone.

"I don't trust them either Thorn, i just wish they could go live someone else, but they don't so we have to learn to deal with it, we either have to kill them all, or leave in harmony with them, and i think killing them is not an option. So we've gotta accept them, and when possible aviod them. Of course they'll return here, but i don't mind, as long as they don't catch prey here. Also if our side of the river dries up, or even some of it, they can work with there dried up part of the river." she turned away, and noticed something in the distance, it must be a cloud, it was a big dark cloud. There would be an awful storm soon. Maybe they had to get back to there dens, so they could not get wet, but she loved the water, she didn't mind staying here, but maybe the others would hate it. Hopefully the Sunstreak dragons wouldn't like it, and maybe it would fill there side of the river. She doubted it but, almost nothing is impossible.

"Yeah, you're right." Thorn said, putting his head on his paws. "We probably couldn't kill them all without dieing ourselves."

Violet sniffed at the air. She looked up and saw the clouds gathering in the distance. We'd better get back into the forest. She thought. The prey might get flooded out of their burrows, and we can't miss an opportunity like that.
"Back to the forest everyone." She told her Clan. "Hurry up and we might catch some prey." She glanced at Ice and almost thanked her for the drink, but she thought better of it. She didn't want her Clan to think she was "weak" or something. Actually, they probably already thought that...

Ice smiled, happy to have the river back to themselves "Leaving so soon?" She smirked at Violet, happy to see the back of the horrible, cruel she-dragon. Ice reckoned she could probably take Violet down in a fight to the death No need to get cocky. I just hope it dosen't come to that....... that would have to be a last resort, last, very last. she thought. Maybe they should all look for something to eat? No, they did that too often, it was becoming more of a chore than something that was normally fun. I used to love hunting..........well at least when the food was abundent and easy to catch. But if this continues, we'll all be dead by the end of the month, i recon, unless we're lucky and have a miracle she thought and sighed Maybe we should all start working together? With the, the, i can't even think of something like that! I dislike them too much, but maybe Midnight clan should spend the rest of our time alive having fun? I've got to start thinking more positively! she thought, then realised how sad and miserable she must look to all the others, so she tried to hide her face from the others, as if she was trying to hide from herself and the others how depressed she was inside Wow, that was really easy to bum myself out like that, note to self, next time don't think about the entire clans destruction she thought, and with that she walked away from the others, and sat alone, she was good at thinking and ignoring everyone else when she wanted to consentrate, and she wanted to, she wanted to find a solution, she knew it was hopeless, but she had to try.
