70 Years After... December 12, 2012; the Day of Doom

It's been 70 years since terror struck the hearts of millions who witnessed the apocalyptic end to civilization. Two humans, a couple, managed to survive. Several generations later, the world is still an apocalyptic wasteland. The only humans inhabiting the ruined Earth are in danger of getting the diseases that easily spread through the destroyed city. Now, it's everyone's destiny to repopulate earth.

The new leader of the city has made a strict law that every male and female will be paired up, whether they like the person or not, and the female will be forced to have children. Over the years, many people have started to dislike the rule, and a rebellion will start to be formed. Teens are starting to work together underground to live freely, but with many skilled and strict forces, the new leader may discover what they have started planning. It's a dangerous work just to live.

The whole city is under quarantine, and each home recieves special treatment daily to ensure health is maintained in the city. This health quarantine puts the natives at less risk to disease, but the rebels, on the other hand, cannot maintain this healthy state as the natives have. Every native is also forced to work in coal mines underground to pay off the "debt" they owe there new leader.

Anyone who disobeys these rules will be publicly hung in the noose in front of town hall. Will you live with the new laws? Or will you become a rebel and put yourself at a great risk?

Love is a very complicated thing for natives. They are
forced to marry at age sixteen to whoever the leader
chooses. Having kids is forced so, teen pregnancy
is very common. Couples are not allowed to divorce
or break up. Nor can they act mean to each other
at any time. Any discovery of these acts will be
punishable by law. As the Earth starts to
repopulate, the laws will become less harsh.

Rebel love is free. The rebels can love whoever
they want. Pregnancy is optional for females
and they may also break up or divorce at any
time. The mini rebel civilization bans teen
pregnancy because they believe it is unnatural.
The laws are less harsh then the laws of there
leader, to the rebels relief.

Kathryn is quiet around people she doesn't know, but loves having a good laugh and making silly/random stuff with her close friends. She'd rather follow along than be leader. Having enemies is never an option; she thinks hating someone is useless, though she can be resentful. Kathryn always tries to see the positive side of everything, and is optimistic most of the time, though she can be highly negative and sarcastic on a bad day. This is the forest on the outside of the forest. It is forbidden to the natives, but it is the perfect place for rebel base camps. Out there the rebels are more prone to disease then underground. The trees are burned to the crisp and tree branches litter the floor.






Often you'll see completely destroyed and burnt cars that haven't been picked up. These cars still give off smoke from being reignited over and over.

Anastasia Léonie Phillips. Interesting name, isn't it? The first name is Russian, the middle name is the French version of a typically Austrian name, and the last name is of British origin. Four nationalities and they are all somehow connected to Anastasia. Let me explain, it really isn't a story that is very unusual. Anastasia's father had been born in London, England, but had moved when he was two years old and had been raised in France and considered himself French even though he had been born in England and his last name was clearly British. He was a young photographer on his first trip to Austria, where he had been hired to photograph models at a not-so-important fashion event that was to take place in a small town called Bad Ischil. He could still be considered a boy, having celebrated his twentieth birthday only a week prior to travelling to Austria. Anastasia's mother was a girl of unusual beauty yet she had been left an orphan at the age of fifteen and had no money. She worked at a restaurant, a low-paying job but it managed to sustain her simple lifestyle. She was eighteen and a quarter, legally of age, and rented a small room in a hotel, where she lived. It was the boy-meets-girl-and-they-fall-in-love-almost-immediately scenario. Anastasia's father had been on his lunch break, it was his first day photographing professionally, and he had gone to the restaurant where his wife-to-be worked to have lunch. He had spent half a day taking pictures of some of the most beautiful women in the world yet he fell in love with the pretty girl who served his lunch. They talked for a while, for a long while, and they agreed to meet again the next day. So it went for about a week when the girl found out she was pregnant. Anastasia's father had been photographing the models there for about a week already and he was supposed to leave in two days. The young couple was really very confused and everything seemed quite impossible, it couldn't really be happening. But it was happening and Anastasia's mother was pregnant, her boyfriend was supposed to leave in two days, and what had started out as "puppy love" had now suddenly turned serious. Two days passed and they still had no idea what to do. Anastasia's father left, promising to come back as soon as he could. Anastasia's mother continued living her life,

working at the restaurant, and trying to hide the fact that she was pregnant and her belly was slowly growing. She was only eighteen, several months away from her nineteenth birthday, and with a baby on the way. Despite the somewhat dire circumstances, the young woman was already in love with her baby and she didn't want it to grow up fatherless. So she called the young man who had gotten her pregnant and he said that he would come in three weeks, with a cousin. So it went, in four weeks time they were married and a few months later, a baby girl was born. The date was November 15th. The mother had always been fascinated by the Russian culture, her mother had been Russian and she had grown up listening to Russian and Austrian folk tales. She wanted to name the child a Russian name. After seeing the baby girl she decided to name her Anastasia, her favourite Russian name. The young mother also wanted to give the child an Austrian middle name and picked Leonie. However, Anastasia's father wanted the girl to have a Franch name and, since his last name was British, he managed to make an agreement with his wife; the girl's middle name would be Léonie, the French version of the Austrian name the mother had chosen. Anastasia Léonie Phillips. Rather an unusual name but the girl grew up to love it.
