I just found out that the purple sleipnir I'm trading for (the trade that is rotting) is supposed to be in an auction. The person "put it up for auction" on the 31st of August, but hasn't even so much as bumped their topic since that day. They've been online every day since. They haven't got any bids for it, it's just sitting there. And here I am with an overpay offer and they won't even respond to me.

No one will trade fairly for a sunjewel.
Everyone either has no idea about the rares list, sends a bad offer with the message"I know it's unfair but..", or sees that I joined in 2012 and tries to ninja me. Guess what, I joined in 2012 and do know my rarities. In fact, I might have gotten two sunjewels by now if I hadn't gifted anyone and hadn't declined some gifts politely.
I would just gift the sunjewel away, but it'd make me feel so bad because I wouldn't be able to gift as many people as I'm going to gift when I finish my sunjewel quantity auction. I just hope someone will offer fairly, but I think I'll have to settle for underpay.

Well maybe you stay with us for bit longer then you can always postpone your auction end date :3

Goes to trade with someone. All of their pets are WL locked. They don't have any rare pets, so i though it would not be a problem. Sees pet i like (scottish fold). Goes to offer. No pets on their WL. So and go and look at their WL. No pets were found. Whut o_O

I've found a few, especially by following clues I picked up through looking at the type of pet the ID belongs to and its owner... Most of them haven't been on in ages. e-e
