Jack sighed and wrangled the horse, keeping himself aloft after the queen jumped

Vicky squinted "what's going on? I can't see it!"

The Queen formed a peak of flat ice and slid to a stop. 'Give me back my child' She said
Quaint landed lightly not letting go of Rose. I will be back Selina. He said threateningly before vanishing.

Lilac soon landed next to Queen, but tumbled, a roar escaping from her throat. She got up, and shook her scales, looking at the Queen.

Rose looked around in confusion, her distress manifesting in quiet sobs, she wished things would stay the same for just one minute!

Vicky cried out in frustration "can't anyone see what's happening?!"

Shhh, little one, you will be home soon.

Ice cracked around the Queens feet in her anger forming great gaping holes in the ice bound earth. 'You there dragon.' She said icily. 'Come here.'

Linkheart tried to see through the glare. 'I see a huge blue dragon and a burning cart.'
'Wow very helpful.' Never said rolling his eyes. 'So much for elf vision.'

Lilac tilted her head, but nodded, walking to the Queen, "...yes..?"

Vicky sighed in frustration "I can't sense her anymore! Eithers she's moved or she's.." she couldn't make herself say dead

Rose quietened a little, wondering at the words in her own mind that somehow made sense to her Who are you? Why can I understand you but no one else? she wondered if this communication worked both ways

Never looked at Vicky. 'Don't you dare think she's dead.'

Quaint smiled secretly, he caught the gist of what she was saying by her emotions and images. Rose was a very rare infant indeed. I am a faerie cat, and you may call me Quaint. You can understand me for I'm directing my thoughts into your mind.

'Dragon I'm in need of your services.' The Queen said

Lilac nodded, and bowed slightly, "..What can I do?" she asked softly, looking into her eyes.

The Queen placed a hand on her snout. 'See those beasts on the ledge there.' She pointed to the ridge where Linkheart, Never, Vicky and Azel were standing. 'Can you make sure they are living in hell for me. I do not mind if you eat them.'
